I miss Marney, though she hasn't been gone long. I'd also mention Kinetic, but he'll be back soon enough and he's prone to stretches of abscence anyway. I can't think of anyone else right now. Loss4words seemed like a good guy, but he quit posting here before I really started posting, so I never got to interract with him much.

 

EDIT: I forgot xkiller gona hit em up. That guy was hilarious.

I don't know where Mike went, but if he's Marney on uber-steroids like I've heard, I think I'd end up detesting him quite a bit.

Nah, him and Marney had a pretty different style. Marney's obviously really aggressive, to the point that she scared a bunch of people off, while Mike did just as good a job of breaking down people's arguments, but did it just by going through their posts point by point and refuting everything they said. He was my favorite person to argue with over there, because the arguments always stayed civil, no matter how much we disagreed with each other.

 

The real Marney on uber-steroids was FK Teale, who also doesn't seem to post here much anymore, but he was never really a regular.

I miss AustinHHH4Life, and Loss4Words... They were a part of the good ol' days. Oh, and ShavedBear. The Brak avatar was great... The only thing that comes close now is Ravenbomb's dancing Strong Bad.

 

Marney was also pretty entertaining, but FK Teale was.. Marney on uber-steroids, for sure.

EDIT: I'd like to say that Current Events is a place I look forward to posting in these days, now that alternative viewpoints can be presented without being verbally raped. The majority is still conservative, but now everyone is much cooler and calmer in there.

In light of all this Shaved Bear hatred, I'm trying to think what it was I liked about the guy...and I can't think of anything.

I didn't really hate him. Sometimes he was annoying, but he was a nice enough guy in the Mission thread which was the only place I knew him. I just don't get why people get so excited about the dancing Brak. I guess, Shaved Bear seemed to me like a mediocre poster who had 6000 posts and a popular avatar, and got over because of it.

I miss no one cause I didnt really know them, and its not like i know you people beyond words you type on a screen..
