Guest nikjohns Report post Posted March 3, 2002 anyone that wants the latest WWF musical offering... Download here Note: I've downloaded all the songs fine using Opera, but Getright complains about file not found, as does Internet Explorer sometimes :/ The files are there, but can be a pain in the ass to get... Drowning Pool's The Game kicks royal ass though, probably because it is very similar to the Motorhead version... - nikjohns

Guest Human Fly Report post Posted March 3, 2002 Drowning Pool is alright, but in 3 years will anyone remember them? Motorhead is classic, Triple H should stick with their version as his music.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted March 3, 2002 As a proud metal head, there is no comparing Motorhead, the band that never sold out, the godfathers of speed metal and fronted by the coolest dude ever, Lemmy Kilmister to "flavor of the month", MTV-friendly nu-rock generic band Drowing Pool. That's just my 2 cents.
Guest nikjohns Report post Posted March 4, 2002 And for the benefit of you all, I will now compare Drowning Pool to Motorhead: Motorhead are a better band than Drowning Pool. In fact, I will now compare myself to the Beatles: The Beatles are more successful than me. Up until this post, I NEVER COMPARED DROWNING POOL TO FUCKING MOTORHEAD, I ONLY SAID THEIR SONGS "TIME TO PLAY THE GAME" AND "THE GAME" WERE SIMILAR. Fucking hellfire. Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted March 4, 2002 chill out nikjohns. Motorhead's version is far superior to drowning poo's version. The only drowning pool song i really liked was "bodies" and after 9-11 it didn't get much air time. Motorhead is one of the greatest metal bands ever.period. Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted March 4, 2002 Motorhead is one of the greatest bands of all-time, period. Metal or not, rock or not, whatever or not. PERIOD. Yes, so they stop playing a song about a moshpit ("Bodies" ) because of 9/11? Jeez...are some people so stupid that they can't think for themselves anymore and actually LOOK UP the meaning of a song? Anyways... Breaking Point's track appears to be the creme de la creme.

Gyeah, I get mis quoted once and the whole thread talks about that... The album is pretty good though, a couple of low points - Kid Rock notably...
