As for the show itself, I only saw the stuff with Jake the Snake and I thought it was funny in a wrestlecrap kind of way.

First of all, the main event was Jake Roberts/King Kong Bundy vs. Yokozuna/Jim Neidhart. Or was it Jake/Yoko vs. Bundy/Neidhart? Either way, you tell me if this is a watchable ppv.

I actually went to that pay-per-view. it was a nostalgia trip but the matches were terrible. When Jake came out everyone was laughing their asses off at Jake being drunk. In the back portion of the arena Samu from the Head Shrinkers was selling shirts with a picture of the Headshrinkers, Yokozuna, and Mr. Fuji on it. After the show I got to take a picture and meet Julio Fantastico. The locker room was basically blocked off by a small curtain that was mostly open all the time and you could see all the wrestlers chilling out. The event was at a small casino in Bay St. Louis which is by Biloxi. I never watched the pay-per-view but I heard the commentary awas just as bad as the wrestling.

You knew it was ghetto when Scorpio came out with a WCW title replica, and the announcers didn't mention. Also, it was funny when Randy Rosenbloom called a dropkick a "flying leg kick." BWAHAHAHAHa! -Jim

I remeber hearing that one year later some nutbar went on a shooting rampage in that same Casino.  Any truth to that rumor? BTW(HANS MOLEMAN MODE ON that PPV took 20 dollars form my pocket book and I want it back.... Aw I just would have wasted it anyways...HANS MOLEMAN MODE OFF)

The show doesn't even fit into the "so bad it's good" category.  It was just plain bad.  A cable station here in the UK showed it, and cut like the last 2 matches, meaning no Jake promo, and no Abby-OMG bloodbath.

I know what you mean Ive seen both and the only reason the Beyond the Mat thing seems lmore ridiculous is Jake appears sober.

My third top Jake moment is from that report of soem UK show he was working, there was like 30 people in the building and Jake told the promoter "i can hardly get it up for 200 people. I cant do this" and stumbled off out of the arena into the night (no car) and wasnt heard from for like a week or so.

 

its sad in a way cause Jakes promos would have fit in killer in todays WWF.

but according to him he can come back at any time he wants
