Guest B-X Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 SUN TV! This is the site for a television network in India. It's hilarious reading the descriptions of the shows. I wonder if we could find Anikolas on this site... EDIT: Oh My God, listen to the description for this show. Vaalsalyam - [serials] Uma- a loving, young and beautiful lady married to Suryadas with two lovely children-Lalu and Mallu had everything in life and their sweet home "Shruthi" was literally a heaven on earth. On Mallu's birthday Suryadas bought a brand new bike and the entire family consisting of patents from both sides, sisters and brothers assembled at "Shruthi" to celebrate the occasion. Soryadas's brother Chandradas thought of joy ride on the new bike and the kids Lalu and Mallu joined the spin, which unfortunately resulted in an accident kiling both the children and Chandradas seriously hospitalised. HOLY SHIT.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 Wow...talk about serious Sitcoms.
Guest Choken One Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 Don't really undertand it but I'd love to see a show revolving around the irony of death other then 6FU.
Guest razazteca Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 so you are telling me that there is more to Bollywood than just Musicals? Very Interesting
Guest godthedog Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 how the fuck can a country like india have such a big entertainment industry? don't they have hordes of starving people? since it costs hundreds of thousands of dollars just to develop and make prints of just one film, couldn't they feed everybody by just making 34320463 movies a year instead of 34320467 movies a year?
Guest Will Scarlet Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 how the fuck can a country like india have such a big entertainment industry? don't they have hordes of starving people? If I remember my Asian religions class correctly, it is mainly the Dalits who are the ones who are starving and are usually looked down upon by the other people in India because they are not part of any social class. I would assume that many of the other people in India are relatively well off. Besides, I have seen various Indian tv shows and music videos and they are not exactly of the highest quality filmwise, so I will take a guess that they do not cost all that much to make as it is.
Guest razazteca Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 India has a unique social Cast system that separates the elite from the poor. Kama Sultra from 1999? is a good movie, go rent it now. Or ask your local 7-11 clerk what is good.

Guest Incandenza Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Well, it isn't a very well kept secret that the mafia has funded Bollywood productions in the past. Also, I don't think that Kama Sutra was that good, but the women were HOT.
