WWE Says Finds 'Suspicious' Fiscal Transactions

STAMFORD (Reuters) - World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., home to pro-wrestling stars such as "The Undertaker," said it has uncovered "suspicious" fiscal transaction related to an affiliated New York complex.

The Stamford, Connecticut-company said that, in September, it identified several "suspicious financial transactions" in connection with the operations of The World, its entertainment complex in Times Square in Manhattan.

Kenton Jenkins, former General Manager of The World, on Friday was arrested in New York, in conjunction with an investigation by local law enforcement, the company said. A WWE news release did not identify the charges against Jenkins.

The company said it does not believe that these matters will have a material effect on its operations.

suspicious and material are contrary terms in the accounting/finacial world

something dont gel

material differences in reporting of tranasctions, by nature, do not affect anything and should not raise any suspicions
