Guest converge241 Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 from the Observer:--On yesterday's Howard Stern show, Stern awarded two free Survivor Series tickets and the guys who got them both refused, saying they didn't like wrestling anymore. (thanks to Jeff Gaglarido) even though i havent been watching, you'd better believe i would take two free tickets!
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 Idiots. Those tickets could have scalped because you know they would have been great seats. Even if they weren't wrestling fans they still should go, because it could turn them into fans.
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 they could have scalped them Scalpers usually sell tickets for more than original prices to people who weren't able to buy tickets before they sold out. MSG sold out, but it took a while. They could sell them at a reduced price, though, which is what I may have tried to do. But it speaks volumes than people can't even care enough to make a few bucks at the WWE's expense.

Guest IB2BLACK Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 I heard it on Stern, and it was two of the Wack Pack, Jeff The Drunk & John the Stutterer. Genuises they are not. He eventually gave them away.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 Dumbass....could have at least put em on ebay.
Guest netslob Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Ha-HAW!! see, Vince. You can't even GIVE those tickets away!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! man, my faith in humanity is restored (for now).
Guest Ram Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Well, the event IS sold out, so I doubt two dumbasses who refused tickets is going to prove anything. And I don't see what's to prove anyway.
Guest razazteca Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 will this be on E!? is Jeff the Drunk the guy with the arm sling? How could he turn down the tickets? I bet he is probably still pissed that Steve Austin quit. I would pay big money to hear John the Stutterer to imitate HHH!
ChrisMWaters Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Hmm...I wonder... Does any of Vince McMahon's closest staff members listen to the Howard Stern show? If so, I would LOVE to hear his reaction to that.
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I don't think Vince would or should care that these two people turned down free tickets. This really is not a big deal at all.
Guest IB2BLACK Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Stern eventually gave them to a caller. No big deal.
Guest art_vandelay Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 I love those two fuckers, they are absolutely HILARIOUS on the show. I bet Elephant Boy would have enjoyed the tickets more. What prize did Jeff and John get instead of the tickets? I wouldn't call them idiots if they got something better.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Damn, I would have taken the tickets. Even if I didn't like wrestling, I would have taken the tickets, and sold them to someone else.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 Does any of Vince McMahon's closest staff members listen to the Howard Stern show? If so, I would LOVE to hear his reaction to that. <Vince> Their probably just a bunch of Internet Geeks. Fuck 'Em! They don't Get "It."
Guest Y2BigJ Posted November 9, 2002 Report Posted November 9, 2002 John the stutter turned the tickets down because he hates wrestling. Jeff the drunk first turned them down but then accepted them later. A cakller called about them today but Howard said that he did not have them anymore.
