Wizards vs. Lakers

Anybody check out this game on ESPN? Good stuff overall. Jordan was feeling it tonight, and so was...Brian Shaw?

 

The Wizards, barring a serious injury to Jerry Stackhouse, are going to the playoffs this year. The end of the game was kind of funny, with the Lakers blowing the defensive set and allowing Stackhouse to lay it in to win the game.

I had it on but stopped paying attention till the end.

 

The Wizards blew a 17 point lead with like 3 seconds left and then scored to win anyway.

 

Great ending.

 

Stackhouse is a force. If they can get some production out of some other guys and Jordan can chip in consistently...it might not be so bad.

Very good game overall, I hadn't been a huge stack fan but Since he is on my Fantasy team...I checked him out and I think he really can become a huge star with MJ pimping him. I was doubtful Washington would be playoff material but I am looking at a 5 seed right now.

Boy, it seemed like defense was a dirty word in the final 5 minutes of this game. And Stack getting by both Kobe and Brian Shaw to win the game = priceless.

I was only able to watch the highlights of this and damn those last seconds were awesome. I'm not shocked though that LA came back from a huge deficit, it seems they do that almost every game.

If the Lakers are smart, they would say Shaq is really important to our team, and right now doesn't really matter, we need Shaq to be around come March..so we should sit Shaq at least another week or two.

 

They are saying he's going to comeback Tuesday but that he's only like 85%. If he were to get hurt again...the Lakers would be SCREWED. I'd wait until Shaq is 100%..

I'm from Chicago and grew up watching Jordan and the Bulls win all six championships, missed maybe two or three games on TV. So yeah, I was pissed when he came back to play for the Wizards. But then I realized a simple way to make myself feel better.

 

Blame the two Jerrys. More so Krause, due to him dying to make a championship team by himself. They could've satiated Jordan by giving him a huge chunk of ownership in the team, I mean something. However, they didn't.
