CloneDVD

I was at the CloneCD website trying to get version 4 of the software (none of the downloads worked), and noticed a "CloneDVD" link.

I clicked it, and it said: "Coming soon."

This has me pretty anxious. But, knowing that DVDs are WAY bigger than normal CD-Rs and CD-RWs sways me a little.

Yeah, DVD Decrypter is good. I also use SmartRipper because it can rip individual chapters, though by now it's possible that DVD Decrypter has that feature too (I haven't done any ripping since early in the year).

AC212: This is SO off-topic, but I just clicked your DVD collection.

Are DVDs from the pawn shop as good as store bought ones?

It depends which pawn shop you get them from, and more importantly, where THEY get them from :)

Mine are real DVDs, because they were apparently stolen from a recently-opened Netflix warehouse in Queens. The only problem with them was that they were kept in paper sleeves, not the original packaging, so I just bought CD wallets to store them in. I'm kind of glad they stopped carrying them a few months back because I was spending an assload of cash over there, though I was able to build up a decent collection of DVDs for $2-$5 each, roughly the price of a rental.

But it's possible that some pawn shops will be selling bootleg stuff.

And it's not as off-topic as you think because the reason I stopped ripping DVDs is because I came across that gold mine of stolen DVDs.
