Guest dc_tapes Report post Posted November 9, 2002 I just got this today, and if you loved the old Contra's your gonna at least like this game. The controls, graphics, sound, and camera angle (side scroller ) are all very well done and it plays just the Contra games of old. My only gripe is that I'm getting my ass kicked even on easy, but oh well. This is very true to the series and hopefully if Konami ever makes a new Castlevania for any of the three systems they'll do the same. Go get this now, so you can do some and ! I will thank them forever for giving me this new Contra game, as I'd been wanting one for YEARS. The PSX Contra games were a disgrace, bu Shatered Soldier more than makes up for them! Yes, it is hard as the flaming beast, but that's good if you ask me. We can't just breeze through it, it's a challange, something MOST games have been missing. I don't think it's really so hard, as it is that most gamers just aren't use to that style of gameplay anymore! I can't wait for Shinobi also, because it offers up just the same challange that I'm wanting, woooooooooooo!
