Sleepaway Camp Set...

My apologies if this has been posted/bitched about before, but I just bought the set today and was having a joyous time watching when all of a sudden Sleepaway Camp 2 more or less imploded. The chapter selection only half works, half of the extras SORT of work and as far as I know, parts of the movie itself are fucked up. Anyone else having this problem or did I get fucked?

You must've just got a bad disc, because mine was just fine.

 

You'd have to ask someone like C.H.U.D. who keeps up on DVD news to be sure, but i don't recall hearing about it being a wide spread problem.

First time I've heard of anything like that happening. You must have got a faulty disc. Go and get it exchanged.

So I was fiddling with it more this evening and finally the extras seem to work fine. Chapters 11 to say 15 or so however refuse to work at all, which is a disapointment because thats the whole bathroom fucking-woods fucking-toilet death sequence.

 

I told Best Buy of this. They said it had been opened and played and they had no other complaints about it so I just had to deal with it. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oy.

 

But I still got my Sleepaway Camp 4 disc right? RIGHT? Ugh.

F*ck Best Buy. How else are you supposed to know if a DVD is defective if you don't PLAY IT FIRST?!?!?!

No problems with my set...although it sucks that the godawful #3 in the set shows the edited death scenes and you gotta go to the extras to see any real gore.

What the FUCK? I was doing the ol stand by of "get pissed and repeatedly hit something till it works or you break your hand " and now the chapters work, the extras work, but the commentary is...fucked? Maybe it's not, I just can't hear anyone talking, I have to turn it all the way up to hear the men. Ah well, long as I can watch the thing.

 

And I would say fuck best buy but everythings so damned cheap there...
