Guest netslob Report post Posted December 18, 2002 Favs: Nightcrawler: i really dig his look and powers, his character is pretty interesting, altho i never cared for the whole religious tone. Beast: dig his look and powers, his character is funny as hell, i did like his simian look better then his current cat-look, but it's growing on me. Toad: yeah i know, not an X-man, but he has NEVER gotten the props he deserves Blob: see 'Toad'. big fat characters always do it for me, i dunno. Wolverine: always dug him, but i could see why some would view him as 'over-rated' Mondo (from Generation X): REALLY cool powers...he could absorb and take on the properties of any organic matter he touches (ie, wood, rock, the earth itself), and used them frequently to merge with the ground...just seems so cool to me, i dunno. Phat (from X-StatiX/ new age X-Force): cool power to bloat his body with fat ...could do without the whole 'Eminem' rip-off gimmick, tho. Xorn: a mutant with a star in his head...damn you straight to hell, Morrison...if only I had thought of it...damn you... i hate, however: Gambit: his character's too much of a swarmy jackass for my liking...cool powers, tho. Maggot: what...the...FUCK...were they smoking when they came up with THIS dickhead...jesus. Anarchist (from X-StatiX): i just don't get how his powers work...how the hell does having acidic sweat allow you to project energy? i'm no scientist, but how does that work? i have no problem with him otherwise. U-Go Girl (X-StatiX): self-important bitch...i''m glad she's dead. you can do better, Guy! Bishop: like it was pointed out before, he's just a futuristic Punisher knock-off...and not even a GOOD one...and you got powers, asshole, use'em once in a while...what happens when you guns run out of juice? Cypher: why is every one so up in arms about this guy getting killed...he was LAME! he was useless. he DESERVED TO DIE. Warlock on the other hand...bring HIM back. Shadowcat: what IS the big damn deal...she becomes intangible...cool power, but cripes...she's no more interesting then any of the other females in the X-Galaxy. btw, for the record... Chamber doesn't NEED to eat, drink or breathe. the energy blast that erupted his chest also took out his lungs and stomach, and it has been theroized (by huge comic-dorks like myself), that he is really just sentient psionic energy, and that his body is just a lifeless shell. just thought you'd like to know. Xorn: a mutant with a star in his head...damn you straight to hell, Morrison...if only I had thought of it...damn you... It makes me wonder what Morrison is going to do with him. Because it's a character with unbelievable potential....and so far, little has been done with him. i hate, however: Gambit: his character's too much of a swarmy jackass for my liking...cool powers, tho. I NEVER liked the whole Cajun-loverboy rogue gimmick. Maggot: what...the...FUCK...were they smoking when they came up with THIS dickhead...jesus. I didn't think Maggot was that bad. The problem is, Maggot was really more of a character that would have worked as a villain, maybe in the Brotherhood or something, than as an X-Man. Bishop: like it was pointed out before, he's just a futuristic Punisher knock-off...and not even a GOOD one...and you got powers, asshole, use'em once in a while...what happens when you guns run out of juice? I disagree. You want a futuristic Punisher knock-off? Try Cable, for at good long time. Cypher: why is every one so up in arms about this guy getting killed...he was LAME! he was useless. he DESERVED TO DIE. Warlock on the other hand...bring HIM back. Have your read the latest Exiles? The problem with Cypher is that he was created & killed off just before he could have been REALLY useful - in the technological boon of the 90s. Winick has the right idea....imagine a character like Cypher in the days of modern technology, a human being capable of understanding & programming in virtually every machine code "language" on the planet, or creating some of his own.
