I only saw his first match with Jarrett but from what I'm reading on the net he actually looks good, unlike Brian James and Curt Hennig.

About his contract...

 

I think he's just on a show by show basis now. After his first 4 weeks were up, he was gone for a while...

 

now I'm pretty sure they just have an agreement that he'll get paid X amount of dollars when they use him.

I think it's all about money and contracts right now. TNA does't have a lot of money to throw around to talents who aren't signed with them as this time.

I know they originally had a deal where he would work every other week or something to that effect. Now I think he's made to look more like a special attraction or something, I dunno.
