Guest Downhome Report post Posted November 10, 2002 I have found myself buying games rather offten ever since I started my job about three or so months ago. I need to stop soon for a while, as I need to save money for Christmas for *sigh*, other people. Anyhow... ...I have bought about 1-2 games a week, and in some cases much much more. This includes new and/or used games, so I am builing my collection rather quickly. I own a Saturn, Dreamcast, GameCube, and of course a PS2. Sincerely, ...Downhome... Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted November 10, 2002 I have a PS2 and a GC plugged in. I have older systems around somewhere. I buy a bunch of games now...but it depends on release dates for how often. In the coming weeks I have Res. Evil 0, SD 4, Metroid Prime and Legends of Wrestling 2 coming out. Guest areacode212 Report post Posted November 10, 2002 I have a Dreamcast, but most of my game playing is done on a PC. My problem is that my system (specifically my video card) is outdated, meaning that most new games won't run at all. Since my PC doesn't have an AGP slot, the problem goes beyond just having to buy a new card. Sigh...I really wanted to play NOLF 2.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted November 10, 2002 I pick up one of those PS2 "Greatest Hits" if it's a game I wanted to get pretty often. It's weird that I get an employee discout from where I work and I rarely use it for games.
Guest The Superstar Report post Posted November 10, 2002 Systems I have: Xbox and Dreamcast hooked up, GBA, and n64, PSX, SNES and Colecovision (!) in the closet. Around this time of year, right after my birthday, is when I buy the most games, since I have so much money. I've recently bought 3 games this week (MGS2: Substance, Typing of the Dead, NCAA Football 2003), and I'm also looking to buy The Sims and GTA3 for PC, and Shenmue II and Panzer Dragoon Orta for Xbox. Guest GeneMean Report post Posted November 10, 2002 I usually get one, maybe two games a month depending on what is hot. Sometimes you get on that streak of release dates that is just unforgiving to your wallet. Earlier in the year it was Medal of Honor:Allied Assault, Freedom Force and Jedi Knight 2 all within a week I believe and most recently it's been GTA:VC, NOLF2, UT2003 and Battlefield 1942 all in a row. uggh. I currently have plugged in a PS2 and my PC. Boxed up I've got a n64 and DC.

Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted November 11, 2002 The only system I really play much now is PS2, although I also have an N64 hooked up. I generally only buy a game every month or two, but that goes up around Christmas season when more games start coming out. I used to buy more games, but I realized I wasn't having enough time to play them all, so I've cut back. Recently I've bought Tekken 4, DDRMax and Suikoden 3, and that'll probably be all until Christmas. I may pick up GTA:VC at some point also, but I really didn't like GTA3, so I dunno. Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted November 11, 2002 I used to buy games a lot, but the only game I bought in the last 6 months has been GTA: Vice City. I just stopped seeing the point in playing them.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted November 11, 2002 I rarely actually buy games. More often than not I get them as gifts, so my collection is pretty small.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 11, 2002 you guys will laugh at this: I own a Nintendo 64 and the last brand new game I bought was No Mercy, almost three years ago.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 11, 2002 I have a Gamecube, the last game I bought was Wrestlemania. I am figuring on getting money for Christmas and I will probably get Metroid Prime, Mario Sunshine, The Sonic Mega Pack for the cube as well as Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 for the PC. Plus, I want to make sure I have Zelda on Preorder as soon as I can..
Guest Leena Report post Posted November 11, 2002 All I have now is a Dreamcast. The last game I bought was Skies of Arcadia, which was like 5 months ago. I try to download smaller DC games now, when I have the chance to get on a faster connection.
Guest TheHulkster Report post Posted November 11, 2002 It depends on the season for me. During the Late Winter/ Spring/ Summer, I buy a game every other month usually. During the Fall/ Early Winter, I go a bit crazy spending money on games (hey, thats when the best games usually come out). The last 2 games that i've bought were Shenmue 2 and GTA:VC. Both kick ass, buy them now.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted November 11, 2002 I have a PS2...and I did rush out and get Vice City...but I got it new for $30 from one of those guys where you can get your shit cheap, just don't ask where he got it from...ya know. I hardly buy games, I do check garage sales and whatnot and look for higher end NES and SNES games though and then Funco Land them...I do well with that. I have 10 games fro my PS2...and about 50 for my Sega Master System, I pick those up whenever I see them
