Here's the preliminary preview (how long has it been since I've done one of these?):

 

RAW is live Monday night at 9/8 CT on the new TNN!

 

With just six days remaining before he steps into the Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series, we will hear from Shawn Michaels. What will he have to say? Undoubtedly, he will have some words for his one-time friend Triple H.

 

Also, Christian and Chris Jericho defend the World Tag Team Championship against Kane and Rob Van Dam.

 

In addition, the five-time WCW Champion Booker T will go one-on-one with the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H.

 

All this and much more Monday on RAW, live at 9/8 CT on the new TNN!

 

The team of Kane and RVD reeks of haphazard, last-minute throw-together. Whatever happened to the Hurricane anyway? It seems fairly obvious that the two won't get the gold, but stranger things have happened. It wouldn't do anything for either man though (not that its doing a lot for Christian & Jericho anyway), but maybe it's their consolation prize for not getting any push after losing their World Title feuds to HHH.

 

The Booker T vs. HHH match is the one that has me worried. It makes it seem that its already the end of Booker's program. I hope I'm wrong and that this will play into their meeting in the Elimination Chamber and be a prolonged feud, instead of a "call on RAW, response on Survivor Series, end of story for Booker" deal.

 

Your thoughts? Anyone besides JHawk actually going to watch?

Teasing a Booker win right before a PPV might be a last test to see if he is over. Least thats what it should be.

 

RVD is still the fav going into it. Kane and RVD tag-match still kinda takes away from their solo credibility unless they get a DQ match like Jericho chairing like a freak that just wont stop drooling.

Honestly, when i first saw Triple H vs Booker T, i was excited...then i remembered Triple H sucks.

Booker T/HHH is a big match for all concerned and the WWE as a whole - personally I have zero confidence in the writers or the locker room leader to do the right thing on the night - so this looks like a chance for HHH to get his pinfall back from last week.

You honestly believe they will put the belt on Rob Van Dam? A guy who's been practically non-existant in storylines since his MAJOR INTENSE SUPER HOT HEATED feud with Trippers. Please, unless your a mark, you need to re-think your logic.

 

My prediction remains with HHH, i thought they'd have Hunter win then have him go on to face Booker @ Armageddon...however they are already scheduled to meet this Monday..

as for the matches I predict on big clusterfuck to finish going 10 minutes over 10 PM central. HBK will make his pressence known, resulting in HHH losing. Slede hammer to Kane's head and RVD walks away so ChrisTAIN wins.

I like how they think a Booker T/HHH match is supposed to mean something when Booker T has been jobbed out over and over since joining the WWF. If they actually built up Booker T leading to this match fans might be hot for it.

I say Trips gets the win tonight due to botched Michaels' interference, creating more tension going into the Elimination Chamber. That, or Shawn comes out and Triple H goes after him before he can do anything, creating a countout win for Booker.

 

Either way, it would keep Booker strong if they don't want him getting a clean pin.

If there's gonna be more Raw side PPV matches for Survivor Series, they'll be announced tonight (hopefully).

 

My only question is this: how are they gonna make Super Tuesday believably live to the people who don't have access to spoilers? I mean...I have a friend of mine who for the longest time thought that Smackdown was live...he'll probably think Super Tuesday is live too.

 

But then again, they have the two sets...eh, I dunno.

I know someone says this every week, but I've got a good feeling about tonight's program. Maybe it's because the matchup of Booker and Trips is one of the few matches they've yet to have with fairly large names.

 

Anyways, I'm looking forward to watching my tape of it when I get home from watching MNF at my father's house. By the way, the Broncos DESTROY the Raiders.

They have already had a Booker T vs HHH one on one match. It happened around 6 months ago. I think Booker T won by dq or HHH's opponent for the next PPV came in and attacked him and cost HHH the match.

Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember them on Raw or something. Yup, there it is. You're right.

 

Still, that was very early in Trips's return, and he's slightly better now. Besides, back then, Booker had nothing going for him other than his shampoo feud or his on-again, off-again team with Test.

No, actually Booker cleanly pinned HHH in January when Christian started harassing Stephanie at ringside, and Booker rolled Trips up for the win. Then in February they fought in the curtain jerker, where Angle ran in causing a DQ.
