Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Here's the preliminary preview (how long has it been since I've done one of these?): RAW is live Monday night at 9/8 CT on the new TNN! With just six days remaining before he steps into the Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series, we will hear from Shawn Michaels. What will he have to say? Undoubtedly, he will have some words for his one-time friend Triple H. Also, Christian and Chris Jericho defend the World Tag Team Championship against Kane and Rob Van Dam. In addition, the five-time WCW Champion Booker T will go one-on-one with the World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. All this and much more Monday on RAW, live at 9/8 CT on the new TNN! The team of Kane and RVD reeks of haphazard, last-minute throw-together. Whatever happened to the Hurricane anyway? It seems fairly obvious that the two won't get the gold, but stranger things have happened. It wouldn't do anything for either man though (not that its doing a lot for Christian & Jericho anyway), but maybe it's their consolation prize for not getting any push after losing their World Title feuds to HHH. The Booker T vs. HHH match is the one that has me worried. It makes it seem that its already the end of Booker's program. I hope I'm wrong and that this will play into their meeting in the Elimination Chamber and be a prolonged feud, instead of a "call on RAW, response on Survivor Series, end of story for Booker" deal. Your thoughts? Anyone besides JHawk actually going to watch?
Guest Nater Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Teasing a Booker win right before a PPV might be a last test to see if he is over. Least thats what it should be. RVD is still the fav going into it. Kane and RVD tag-match still kinda takes away from their solo credibility unless they get a DQ match like Jericho chairing like a freak that just wont stop drooling.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Well I'm a smark, i always end up watching whether i actually want to or not... Honestly, when i first saw Triple H vs Booker T, i was excited...then i remembered Triple H sucks. Oh well... Illusion - Naming his first son 'Axl'
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Booker T/HHH is a big match for all concerned and the WWE as a whole - personally I have zero confidence in the writers or the locker room leader to do the right thing on the night - so this looks like a chance for HHH to get his pinfall back from last week. Right result ? HHH keeps the belt through underhanded nonsense, Booker T beats him from pillar to post during the match and is the last man left standing as the show goes off the air.

I'm laughing right now because THAT has about a 0.0000006% chance of happening. Illusion - Suddenly wants to play his guitar just like Slash...
Guest MixxMaster Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 It doesn't say that it's a TITLE match. I'm positive that WWE would've stated it as such, to stress the importance of the match(and, of course, boost the buy-rate). Following typical WWE logic, Booker T will most likely lose the match on Raw involving the typical shenanigans, and then eliminate HHH in the Chamber match(I didn't say that he will win the Elimination Chamber(toilet)match. That will go to RVD)

Please, unless your a mark, you need to re-think your logic. My prediction remains with HHH, i thought they'd have Hunter win then have him go on to face Booker @ Armageddon...however they are already scheduled to meet this Monday.. Fuck i hate you Vince. Illusion - Can't dig it
Guest edotherocket Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 A Booker non-title win on RAW tonight drastically increases the chances of Triple H winning the title at Survivor Series.
Guest jester Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Does Micheals really have to come out and give a speech? It's only going to be interrupted by HHH so he can ramble on about his choice of undergarment or something equally interesting. This is a 20 minute segment for sure.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 for chrissakes!!!! 5:00 in the morning and you start the raw thread???? as for raw itself, booker jobs! hhh raises the gold belt and spits some water. the match is *, if that due to the working of the sleeper for 7 minutes.
Guest BifEverchad Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 a RAW thread already?? annnnd, only 8 and 1/2 hours to go! Who says you guys can't wait for RAW...
Guest razazteca Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 that is not bad goodhelmet...... a thread was started on WEDNESDAY of last week~ as for the matches I predict on big clusterfuck to finish going 10 minutes over 10 PM central. HBK will make his pressence known, resulting in HHH losing. Slede hammer to Kane's head and RVD walks away so ChrisTAIN wins.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I have a feeling Kane & RVd will win the Belts tonight, since Christian isn't booked on the PPV. Then Christian will win the belts back with yet another New Tag Partner next Monday.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 i predict i will not be watching the crap tonight. instead, i will eagerly await tomorrow's spoilers AND survivor series hype show.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Hmmm.....I will be watching it, but that Kane/RVD match.....lazy booking.....
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Illusion...I have used the WWE logic to figure out that RVD is going to win precisely BECAUSE he's the only one without a prgram going in. What do you think they do in this company anyway? Either way...my logic remains in the link in my sig.
Guest BoboBrazil Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I like how they think a Booker T/HHH match is supposed to mean something when Booker T has been jobbed out over and over since joining the WWF. If they actually built up Booker T leading to this match fans might be hot for it.
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I am for one pumped about seeing Booker v. Trips tonight! <Mark Mode> Don't Hate tha Playa Hate Tha Game! </Mark Mode>
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I'm not sure which will suck worse, Raw or my Raiders in Denver. Unfortunately I live on the West Coast, so I get to suffer through both.
Guest bravesfan Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Bank Arena. Cincinnati, Ohio.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Not sure where they are tonight. I say Trips gets the win tonight due to botched Michaels' interference, creating more tension going into the Elimination Chamber. That, or Shawn comes out and Triple H goes after him before he can do anything, creating a countout win for Booker. Either way, it would keep Booker strong if they don't want him getting a clean pin.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I'd watch Raw before Raiders/Denver. This coming from a Chiefs Fan of course. Chiefs were Raped & Pillaged yesterday, btw.

Chiefs were Raped & Pillaged yesterday, btw. Even with your team in my division, I was out here cheering them on since the Niner fans are such band wagon fans.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 If there's gonna be more Raw side PPV matches for Survivor Series, they'll be announced tonight (hopefully). My only question is this: how are they gonna make Super Tuesday believably live to the people who don't have access to spoilers? I mean...I have a friend of mine who for the longest time thought that Smackdown was live...he'll probably think Super Tuesday is live too. But then again, they have the two sets...eh, I dunno.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I know someone says this every week, but I've got a good feeling about tonight's program. Maybe it's because the matchup of Booker and Trips is one of the few matches they've yet to have with fairly large names. Anyways, I'm looking forward to watching my tape of it when I get home from watching MNF at my father's house. By the way, the Broncos DESTROY the Raiders. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest BoboBrazil Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 They have already had a Booker T vs HHH one on one match. It happened around 6 months ago. I think Booker T won by dq or HHH's opponent for the next PPV came in and attacked him and cost HHH the match.

I think Booker T won by dq or HHH's opponent for the next PPV came in and attacked him and cost HHH the match. Now that you mention it, I vaguely remember them on Raw or something. Yup, there it is. You're right. Still, that was very early in Trips's return, and he's slightly better now. Besides, back then, Booker had nothing going for him other than his shampoo feud or his on-again, off-again team with Test. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest The Superstar Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 No, actually Booker cleanly pinned HHH in January when Christian started harassing Stephanie at ringside, and Booker rolled Trips up for the win. Then in February they fought in the curtain jerker, where Angle ran in causing a DQ. But um...GO JERICHO~!
