Guest Paranoid Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 I like crandamaniac's version better. I do think that if you live in America then you are an American. But Mullet-American does have a nice ring to it! All the black friends I have don't mind being called black. I don't mind being called white. I even say the unspeakable word around some of the black friends that I have been friends with for years and they don't care. But in reality if I said that word anywhere else I would probably get my ass kicked!
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 Just noticed that that johndamnit guy was banned. I may not have agreed with a word he said (assuming he believed his entire reposted rhetoric), but was he flaming outside of this folder or a previously banned poster or something?
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 Try to have things like the United Caucasian College Fund, Cloud Magazine, White Entertainment Television, or Miss White America and see what happens. Jesse Jackson will be knocking down your door. White Entertainment Television? It's Called CBS,NBC,ABC

Guest Midnight Express83 Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 Reason people get pissed at BET because shows mainly black people, and whites who are soulful: Carey, M; B, Jon; Myers, John; Timberlake, J; ect. ect. ect. But people don't realise that statations like the WB for example system matcily took off every black show, even when said shows were the HIGHEST rating shows on the network(Moving Jamie Foxx to a dead zone of 7:00 PM sunday after being on a nice cushy 8:30 on Thursday nights, All out cancelling the Waynes Brothers even thought that was the first show they made that was a hit and getting strong ratings for the network at the time). That isn't a race thing, thats just bad business.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 MX is right, the shows on the WB were quality comedic programs, and they got the ax or moved for no adequately explored reason. And I love BET, so I can't really say anything against it. Comic View owns all of you. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 He was The Brain. Again? Damn, and I thought Smarkzone had no life... OK, I figured as such, just needed confirmation.
