Guest Downhome Report post Posted November 12, 2002 I'm just currious, seriously! He he was to actually pin or defeat all five of the other guys, will it then be time to revolt, or will it simply be a step in dirrection. I have a strong feeling this is what we'll see... ...God help me if I'm right, and keep this disaster from happening! Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Respect The 'Taker Report post Posted November 12, 2002 It is PAINFULLY obvious HHH is going to win this Sunday, like it or not. The signs on RAW were obvious, HHH always makes his opponent, in this case HBK, look as though they are 'good' enough to take him down, only to have them looking up at the lights come the PPV. Besides, you just know HHH is pulling the 'you owe me a job, Shawn!' angle with McMahon... If anyone but Trippers is victorious this Sunday, i'll start listening to Bon Jovi. Illusion - Fucking hates Bon Jovi
Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted November 12, 2002 I think HHH will win the whole thing. He will definately get his win back over Shawn. The WWE might go for the shocker like they did at Vengeance when Y2J got the title, but I reckon it's either HHH or RVD (after all The Game has pinned Van Dam twice in a row)... Either way I wont "revolt". I will if Big Show beats Lesnar for the WWE Title.

You're forgetting though, Raw isn't the last show for that side of the roster right now. The last show for that roster comes tonight, with Super Tuesday. And I know what happens, which HOPEFULLY will mean that he doesn't get a win at the PPV.

Guest jester Report post Posted November 12, 2002 If HHH wins it, yes, I am done for Raw for a good long while. However, even WWE can't be this clueless. (Can they?) Only Kane would be a worse choice to wear the belt right now. What worries me is what happens after. That belt still needs some credability. Can the new champ bring it some? Will they be booked to look like a loser? My fear is that RVD will win, and then they'll turn him heel, make him need to cheat to beat Rico, and then decide that he's not over enough to be on top... Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted November 12, 2002 HHH- I don't see him winning, I see HBK costing him the match thus leading to a match down the line. I see a the HHH/HBK fued extended as it doesn't need the aid of a belt as there is so much hate between the two. I hope there isn't a swerve where HBK and HHH end up alligning with HBK costing someone the title. If he wins I say revolt! HBK- He has been built up strong, mainly against HHH which leads me to belive that's where he will be focused on. I doubt they'll put the belt on the guy who can't wrestle anywhere near a full-time schedule. He may suprise me with a win last eliminating HHH, become a transitional champ and lose to HHH at the next PPV. RVD- He has been opening cards up and hasn't been built up enough lately. Over with fans but doesn't have the mic skills to be a main-eventer who needs to be in serious fueds, none of his WWE fueds have been overly memorable. Booker T- I want Booker to win the most, he promos were mainly comedic when he was alligned with Golddust but has become serious the last couple of weeks which is a good sign. Jericho- I don't see him winning, I wouldn't mind if he won, I just don't see it happening. He hasn't been built up like the others so I don't see him having a chance. Kane- I like his chances, I don't like the idea but I like his chances. He was always on the cusp of winning the title, with his ability to talk now that may have pushed him to the title. He has been made to look strong since his return but also very ridiculous at times.

Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Wrestlemania IV Mean Gene: "Alright, over the last couple of months it has been very difficult for me to introduce this man without using World Wrestling Federation Champion. HULK HOGAN, here at Wrestlemania IV this afternoon, you've got the opportunity to change that." Hulk Hogan: "OH YEAH, it's been hard to live with, man! Fe fi fo fum, Andre! One long year, and your time has come, man! No marks, no scars, no blemishes on the Hulkster, brother! But inside, man, I've been scarred for one long year. Everywhere I go, man, all the little Hulksters ask me, 'Is there any truth to the fact that there was a controversial count? Hulkster, did you really get him over your head? Did you really beat the Giant?' "Well today, man, at Wrestlemania IV, we're gonna wipe all that controversy out. Andre the Giant, in the second round, when you're fresh as a daisy, with the whole world watching, I'm gonna prove, brother, that I can beat ya anywhere, anytime. And all my Hulkamaniacs, they're gonna feel it, too." Mean Gene: "Speaking of the Hulkamaniacs, Hulk Hogan, we have seen them here in Atlantic City, and I know millions others are watching very intently around the world." Hulk Hogan: "Yeah! But if you look in their eyes, man, have you seen the FEAR in all those little Hulksters? They realize that when I get Andre the Giant cinched up in the launch position, when I slam him through the Trump Plaza, brother, from New York, down to Tampa, Florida, the fault line is gonna break off! And as Andre the Giant falls into the ocean, as my next two opponents fall to the ocean floor and I pin them, so will Donald Trump, and all the little Hulkamaniacs! "But as Donald Trump hangs onto the top of the Trump Plaza, with his family under his other arm, as they sink to the bottom of the sea...THANK GOD Donald Trump is a Hulkamaniac! He'll know enough to let go of his materialistic possessions, hang on to the wife and kids, dogpaddle his way all the way to safety! But, Donald...if somethin' happens, you run outta gas, and all those Hulkamaniacs run outta gas, just hang on to the largest back in the world, and I'll dogpaddle us, backstroke, all the way back to safety!" Yes, yes... I do rule. Thank Smitty from the Memorable BAD Quotes thread for posting it. EDIT: Shit.. this is WM 4, not 6...

Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted November 12, 2002 All of this WM6... both Hogan's and UW's promos... "Gene: Hulk Hogan, the greatest World Wrestling Federation Champion of all time…Here we are at WrestleMania 6, the waiting is over, here comes the Ultimate Challenge. Hogan: You know something, Mean Gene…you don't have to remind me and my Hulkamaniacs that at Skydome, we're gonna face the Ultimate Challenge brother. When we crossed the border from the United States of America to Canada, I was hovering over Sky Dome, brother. I saw what was beneath me, man. I saw the greatest arena of all time, where the Ultimate Challenge will take place. And as we landed, brother, nothing but stark-raving Hulkamaniacs were there to great me at the airport. Nothing but positive vibes, man! Hulkamania is running wild like it never ran before! But The Ultimate Warrior, you must realize that when you step into Skydome, when you feel the energy that's gonna run wild throughout the arena, those are my people, that's my energy, brother! And Ultimate Warrior, THIS is where the power lies man, in the power of the Hulkster, the largest arms in the world! And once I get you down on your knees Ultimate Warrior, I'm gonna ask you one question, brother. I'm gonna ask you "Do you want to live forever?" And if your answer is yes, Ultimate Warrior, then breathe your last breath into my body. I can save you! My Hulkamaniacs can save you! We can turn the darkness that you live in into the light! We can save all your little Warriors with the training, the prayers, and the vitamins! But I've got to prove one thing to all my Hulkamaniacs out there: It's not whether you win or whether you lose…the only thing that matters is what kind of winner you are, or what kind of loser you are. And Ultimate Warrior, I sure hope you're a good loser, brother. Whatchu gonna do, in Skydome, when the largest arms in the world and Hulkamania destroys you! Gene: All right, the time is now. Hulkster, thank you. Standing by, Sean Mooney. Mooney: Thank you Mean Gene, I'm with the reigning Intercontinental Champion Ultimate… Warrior: YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A NORMAL! You don't deserve to breathe the same air that I and Hulk Hogan do! Hulk Hogan, I must ask you now, as you asked me: Do YOU, Hulk Hogan, want your ideas, your beliefs, to live forever? For Hulk Hogan, in this normal world, physically, none of us can live forever. But the place you have taken the Hulkamaniacs, the ideas and the beliefs that you have given them, can live through me, Hulk Hogan. That is why I breathe, that is why the Warriors have come! Hulk Hogan, there are ones that question where you are taking them. Do you no longer want to walk or step into that darkness? Hulk Hogan, the darkness I speak of is nothing to fear. It is about the beliefs of accepting any and all challenges at the cost of losing everything, Hulk Hogan. You have lived, Hulk Hogan, for the last 5 WrestleMania's for this one belief. Now, Hulk Hogan, I come to take what you believe in further than you ever could! I come, Hulk Hogan, NOT to destroy the Hulkamaniacs and Hulkamania. I come, Hulk Hogan, to bring the Warriors and Hulkamaniacs together as one. As we, Hulk Hogan, accept all of the challenges with all the strengths of the Warriors and the Hulkamaniacs together. Hulk Hogan, the colors of the Hulkamaniacs are coming through the pores of my skin. And Hulk Hogan, when we meet Hulk Hogan, I will look at you, and you will realize then, that I have come to do NO ONE no harm! But only Hulk Hogan, to take what we believe in, to places it never has beeeeeeeeen!" Here we go... Anybody think that Hogan and Warrior shared the same pipe that night? Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted November 12, 2002 If Triple H wins? I'll laugh. I don't see how anyone couldn't find the Ongoing Adventures of The Game in any way amusing. Sure, it'll be a little vexing, but Jericho's the only guy in there I really care about, and I've been cool on him for some time now. As someone else said, I'll be pissed if Brock loses. I've never actually been angry at booking decisions the way many here have, but if Big Show goes over I'll be legitimately fucked off and post huge, long hatefilled posts in many threads. Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted November 12, 2002 I'm with Hamburglar. I care far more about Brock/Show than the elimination chamber. Brock should crush Show after Heyman & Brock make up, leaving Brock heel.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted November 12, 2002 if by revolt, you mean turn away from the fed, it is apparent many, including myself, have already done that. i haven't watched raw in months and from all reports, i haven't missed shit. i am actually more concerned with who wins the brock-big show match since that gives me a more accurate indicator of which direction the fed will move in. as for the elimination chamber match, i think kane wins it. he is the only one who has been halfway protected in this entire mess that is raw. jericho, rvd AND booker have all been glorified tag team wrestlers and i am guessing that hhh and hbk eliminate each other in some form or fashion. one pins the other. before the loser leaves, he costs the other. Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted November 12, 2002 Let's review: HHH beats Booker on Raw and makes him look like a jobber. Spoiler: He beats Kane tonight in the 10 man. Maybe I'm wrong but not even HHH can get away with this bullshit. BPS and I are in total agreement on this one: HHH is the last man eliminated, Shawn screws him over, and RVD wins the title. Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted November 12, 2002 yeah, i had already been informed about tonight's spoiler making me re-guess my entire thought process on that match. then again, since kane jobs tonight, he gets his heat back at the ppv. who fucking knows anymore? Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted November 12, 2002 If RVD wins it is a big mistake. Even I can figure out that he should be RAW champ, but if you give it to him with no build up, he will flop as champ. Instead of HBK costing HHH the match against RVD, RVD should cost HHH the match against HBK. HHH gets the title back the next month, and RVD wins the RAW Rumble, before winning the title clean from HHH at Wrestlemania. RAW is the 'entertainment' brand so RVD being champ would make sense (as opposed to him being champ of the 'wrestling' brand), but you have to build up to it first.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted November 12, 2002 However, as a WWE watcher we know that RVD will only get the title with no build. So the time is now. I seriously think that if they keep the title on HHH people will tune out. RVD should obviously win the belt at Mania, because that's what top faces are supposed to do. But...recognizing that this isn't going to happen... dude...whatever.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted November 12, 2002 dude...whatever. even you seem to be confused by wwe's internal logic. then again, vince was proud of the necrophilia angle.
