THE LATEST VERSION

November 8th, 2002

To begin with, I would like to thank everyone who has stopped by WWEMattitude.com and been supportive of yours truly, Matt Hardy. The last few months of Matt Hardy, Version One, founder of Mattitude, have been a lot of fun. It makes it so much sweeter that my new character has been accepted and people are being entertained by it. It's different going from being in a tag team for so long and then becoming a singles competitor, but I feel like it's been a pretty smooth transition.

I can't tell you how much I love my new entrance; it's awesome! I have to once again say thanks to Adam in the production studio for putting it together. The "Live for the Moment" song by Monster Magnet has also really grown on me. At first, I was only going to use it for a few weeks while new music was made for me. As time went on, people (including myself) went from thinking it was no good, to good for my character, and then just good entrance music. I guess it will be around for a while. The pieces of info during my entrance have gotten a lot of positive feedback, and are usually true. Just for the record, they are officially called "Matt Facts". It will be interesting to see how long I can keep coming up with good ones.

It's great to be on SmackDown!, getting an opportunity to do my own thing and have fun with it. There are really a lot of talented guys I look forwards to working with on SmackDown! I have to give props to Edge, Rey, Benoit and Angle as they have been doing some great tag matches recently. If Jeff and I were still teaming, I'd love to have the chance to get in the mix with the current SmackDown! tag teams.

I'd like to say congratulations to Shannon Moore, who just got married November 2. Shannon is a super person and a close friend. He is also my new "Mattitude Follower," or an MFer for short. Are you an MFer?

A goal of mine since I became a singles wrestler was to have my own T-shirt, and that goal has been achieved. I think it turned out well, with the V1 emblem on the front, and "The era of Mattitude has arrived" on the back. Several people have asked me when and where they can get the shirt and here is the answer. The shirt should be showing up at live events soon, and will be back on WWEShopZone.com soon as well.

As many of you know, wrestling/sports entertainment is Matt Hardy's first and foremost love. It's important to me that I like what I'm doing and the fans are emotionally interested in what I am doing as well. I want to say thanks to anyone who has brought a sign to a WWE event that says Matt Hardy in some way, shape or form on it. It doesn't matter if it says Matt sucks, Matt Rules, I want a Mattitude adjustment, Bad Mattitude, V1 rocks, or my personal favorite, the upside down WWE emblem, an M for Mattitude. I want people to be interactive during my matches, whether they boo or they cheer. I want you to enjoy yourself. My theory is this-- "It's not if you win or you lose, it's how you entertain." And I'll do my best to accomplish that. As always, Matt Hardy is only beginning to scratch the surface. Be well, and until then...

I would be shocked if Matt's SAT scores were that high (1330). I'd be surprised if he scored above a 1000.

Guest Jobber of the Week

Are they doing the MFer bit on TV? This isn't the first time I've heard about it, and frankly I've missed most WWE TV over the past two weeks (and sadly, haven't cared.)

If so, between Testes and MFers, I wonder why both shows always have to be doing the same damn thing at the same time.

I don't think they've done MFer on TV.

This past Smackdown marked the debut of "MF'er". Matt was talking to Shannon Moore backstage (Shannon had on the V1 shirt), and Matt was telling him how he's (Shannon) a "Mattitude Follower, or MF'er for short"

Must have missed that part. Sorry for the misleading and stuff.
