I think the better ratings and hotter crowds on Smackdown show without a shadow of a doubt that the fans care more about the good wrestling on Smackdown than they do the sports entertainment on RAW.

They keep putting the HIAC match into the context though too, like Brock is still suffering effects from it too, keep that in mind.

 

Basically its all excuses to make Show look like a legit contender, and I give them this much, I think they have done just about the best they can do given Show's horrible past record.

 

It would be too much to ask to actuall acknowledge Lesnar got injured over the weekend though, I'm sure.
