And he was put in a match with Booker, non-title, who didn't have a prayer of beating. HBK came out to add fuel to that HOT feud-within-a-fued... Hmmm.... and... further establishing him as a political master... he KNEW the ratings were on a down cycle so he HAPPILY didn't lobby to be in RAW is HGH.... thus giving his partisans ammo that the sag is NOT his fault.... If you read the first post, you'd see ratings dropped in the second hour, hence my point. Some people who were watching tuned out when HHH showed up. hey Andrew I agree, but that is not the point... he'll spin it as lag and apathy that he WASN'T the whole effing show.... and since the people that matter are already allies of his THAT will be the new reality....

Guest RedJed Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 We might finally be seeing the backlash of the horrible streak Raw did have, and the casket-fucking, etc. Plus last weeks show was just about as bland as you can get, and this was after 3 or so weeks of some of the worst Raws ever. So there you go I guess. I'd like to see the quarter ratings........I know one thing, I bet people turned off in droves when they had Terri and Victoria yapping and then they took a break, playing as it was extremely important to stay tuned for that "action." Thats an insult to any wrestling fans intelligence right there.

It's pretty sad that the better show is the one that's taped so pretty everyone knows what happened instead of the live "anything can happen" show.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 as i see it kingpk, for those of us who are pressed for time, that is a positive!!! i know i can skip raw for months at a time without missing anything at all. for SD, i can schedule my viewing habits around the GODZ or interesting developments while bypassing rikishi and mark henry altogether. i think it is a win-win situation. now, lets hope the SD ratings don't suffer a similar fate.

Thus Crips' politicking has effectively painted Vince into a corner where if Vince nukes those responsible for the John Holmes push of HGH he has basically taken a big shit on his daughter, a guy he credits with helping to kill WCW through his writing, and one of his "most loyal" *stars*. I wouldn't want to be at Thanksgiving dinner after that battle in the McMahon household....
