Guest AndrewTS Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 -.Hunter Hearst Helmsley pinned World Heavyweight Champion, Shawn Michaels, to win the European Title. And IIRC didn't HHH win the European Title via the fingerpoke of DOOM? Something like that. I remember HHH gingerly hitting the ropes and lightly splashing HBK after a brief match that looked like it was really going to be competitive, and then pinned him for the Euro--making that title look like utter shit.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Didn't Smackdown score a 3.1 two weeks ago ? (due to Halloween). No, Halloween Smackdown got a 3.3. Even on a fucking holiday Smackdown is doing better than RAW. Oh, and I also hope the Smackdown Six resolve their issues once and for all at Survivor Series. Despite what we think, there's still the general fanbase to consider. And yes, the Euro title looked like shit on that night and never recovered in my eyes. Thanks HBK and HHH!!!!
Guest mach7 Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 I wish they'd hurry up and just cancel the damn show.. what a waste of airtime.
Guest snowfan Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 I wish they'd hurry up and just cancel the damn show.. what a waste of airtime. If Vince is going to continue to insist on using that 2 hours as a sex aid for his daughter I agree...
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 since i don't watch the motherfucker anyway, i guess it wouldn't matter to me if they cancelled raw. the only draawback is that the deadweight would migrate to SD and that show's quality would drop rapidly!
ChrisMWaters Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Unless Vince is planning on moving all of the Raw Talent onto the "Brought Back from the Grave" Saturday Night Main Event, I severely doubt that he will cancel Raw. The only thing is, he needs to figure out that he's letting that side of the roster go down the damn toilet. Once he does this, THEN we can have hope.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 A one week dip won't be enough to convince the WWE that they need to make drastic changes to who is, and who isn't, being pushed on Raw. But it's not a one week dip. The ratings have been dipping for over a month now.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 hell the ratings have been dipping for several months now. i remember when pulling high 4's was a reason for concern/ now they are closer to 2's than 4's. vince should be shitting his pants.
Guest cabbageboy Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Here is what is truly frightening: In March the ratings were 5.4 or so, now it is down to 3.1. That is the kind of downward spiral that cannot be attributed to Booker T or Jericho, or anyone else besides HHH. I'm baffled as to why everyone here is saying "they'll use it as a reason to keep the title on HHH." If anything it's got to be the opposite. This is final, definite, irrefutable evidence that HHH can't draw for shit. On Sunday, he jobs.

He managed to hold on as ratings slid into the 3s... I think it'll take a sub 2.5 to make Vinny blink....
Guest cabbageboy Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 First off, jobbing HHH out is what I think they have in mind anyway for Sunday...now with a 3.1 do they really have a choice?
Guest Army Eye Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 It's something that can't be blamed on any one wrestler. The Raw writing team needs to be completely discarded, starting with Gerwitz.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 yes, you can blame one wrestler because hhh ahas been the focal point of every single raw since he was handed the belt... and maybe evn before then as for the writing team i completely agree
Guest BoboBrazil Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 The writing isn't the only problem. The booking is also a huge problem. People are tossed into feuds for no reason and people job for no reason as well. An example of this is when Hurricane jobbed to Steven Richards a few weeks back when he was still half of the tag champs and the next night on Raw Richards loses in a squash to Jerry Lawler. Another example is them building up John Cena and actually having him look good against Angle and go over Jericho on a ppv and then start jobbing to guys like Rikishi on Smackdown.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 But who COULD win the belt and have a feud coming out of it? Booker and Jericho are the only ones that could feud with each other outside of HHH's involvement. You think they would put the title on either of them? HHH has conveniently made it so that only he could win the match.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 But who will HHH feud with if he wins? They will have a problem with the next feud no matter who wins. They may have to :gasp: build an all new feud...how terrible. Hell it's not like it would be hard to start a new feud. Just have someone in the Chamber match attack the winner. Of course that means they will just keep the boring as hell HHH/HBK fued going for at least another month.
Guest razazteca Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Scott Steiner needs to use the Lead Pipe on the winner to start interest for Raw the next night.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Scott Steiner needs to use the Lead Pipe on the winner to start interest for Raw the next night. Now, by that do you mean a REAL lead pipe, or his classic rubber one? If it's HHH, I say go with the first one.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Lesson that should be learned - HHH can't draw against anyone Lesson that will be learned - RVD, Booker and Jericho are obviously dragging HHH down a few levels, quick push Batista
Guest snowfan Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Lesson that should be learned - HHH can't draw against anyone Lesson that will be learned - RVD, Booker and Jericho are obviously dragging HHH down a few levels, quick push Batista beer...(beer is shorthand for dead on) but when the rqatings still sag... HGH will fall...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted November 14, 2002 Report Posted November 14, 2002 Batista just doesn't seem to have that aura about him that Brock has. Trying to do the same thing they did with Brock is a mistake.
