Beating The Dead Horse

I don't even know why I watched RAW last night. I'm so sick of WWE that I don't even want to watch the good matches on Smackdown. The main things that aggravated me were (and you can tell I haven't really been keeping up because some of these annoyances are dated):

Triple H- As a face he sucked and was still pushed so damn hard and no one gave a shit. Now he is just so damn annoying and it's so obvious he has Michaels type pull in the back to be part of everything. Also I was really offended at the fact that he called himself God last night.

NWO- I was excited at first at Hall and Nash returning but then it was obvious they were just gonna get the shit kicked out of them by Rock and Austin so why bother.

Lesnar, Cena, Batista, Orton, etc.- I think that if you can't get your shit straight with what you have, throwing more people in the clusterfuck is not a good idea.

Total collapse of everything- Jericho loses the titles and then he just drifts and it seems like no one has anything to do anymore either. WWE is very lucky a portion of the roster still wants to work or else it'd be like WCW and it'd just be guys going out there and going through the motions.

The draft- This was the big thing that killed interest for me. Yay we get to see the same fed unbelievably operate as two feds. That means one of your favorites could be stuck with all the guys you hate.

Hey guy they need to bring in new talent. I agree with the main theme of your post, but I am pretty sure that orton will be around when Hunter, Benoit, Booker and a slew of others are gone. The problem Vince is fcing is that he is hurting these guys by using them as "quick fixes" to combat the viewer rebellion at HGH doing his John Holmes impersonation on our collective throat.

The new guys in all honesty should have been given a slow buildup but with Austin/Rock departing and UT limping through the motions I guess it was inevitable they'd be put in the spotlight too soon.

I know about bringing in new talent and you make a good point but everytime a new guy came in I was like "gee let's add more fuel to the fire of the WWE's decline in quality."

And Rando, your attempt at being funny was....OMG, not funny. I mentioned that some of my annoyances were dated and the title was beating a dead horse.

Like OMG, pashaw.

If you're sick of the WWE, then, you know, you CAN change the channel and not watch it.

Huh? Isn't pretty much everybody here sick of the current product (the Raw one, at least)? Some of us keep watching, though many of those only sporadically; and of course almost half have already gone, with more jumping by the day.

So I don't see the point of you telling this guy he can stop watching. Obviously he can stop watching, and there's a great chance he will. I hope you don't think you're telling him something he doesn't already know.

It's not that they're bringing in new green guys. Nowinski is still very green, but he's fun to watch because he has a good gimmick that works. HE HAS A PERSONALITY.

Orton didn't, but now it looks they're finally giving him one with the RNN updates.

Cena still doesn't have a personality, so he's sweeping up the arenas after Smackdown tapings.

Batista needs a personality too besides "big angry guy." They didn't that with Brock and people are only now starting to tolerate him.

It's really like WWE has forgotten how to put on a show, build talent, and hold our attention.

The whole problem here is that Vince in killing WCW didn't really kill WCW he just let the worst part of WCW-itis invade HIS domain...

what do we have???

a bunch of 37-45 somethings not allowing even the illusion of credibility for a bunch of 25-35somethings...

REAL GOOD RECIPE for the future Vinny...

HGH=Hogan 2003....

I always thought the general concensus was that Vince doing anything else but the above with these guys was just waiting for it to explode in his face.

I was thinking the other night how weird it is that Nash is the only guy from the three who's still clinging on.
