Guest cynicalprofit Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 After the horrid numbers on raw and current level of crap being shoveled at us, lets guess, for fun, how low the buyrate is. I say .24
Guest ISportsFan Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 .21 But we won't know the buyrate down to the hundreth place for many months, so this exercise is pointless. Jason
JasonX Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 what is a 'no' prize? A running gag that Marvel Comics had going back in the 1960s through the 1980s. Basically if Marvel ever made a mistake in one of their comics involving screwed up art or involving continuity, readers could write in with their theories on how to make said errors make sense or make them not be errors. Letter writers who got their theories published would receive a "No-Prize", which was an empty envelope with a fancy Marvel Comics logo on it....
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 Like ISportsFan said, we won't find out for months. .63 - this is a flagship PPV after all
Guest the pinjockey Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 .55 Even at their death march WCW was getting .3s IIRC and the Elim Cham. will generate some buys as well as the three way tag generating some smark buys. This will be better than recent PPVs but a disgrace considering the mega-gimmick they pulled out and will only still get a crappy buyrate.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 It will take months, but we can go back and find the post cant we?
Guest teke184 Posted November 13, 2002 Report Posted November 13, 2002 .57 This is a flagship PPV, so it won't be THAT much below the normal monthly buyrate of the past year. Hell, if we haven't heard how low the one for No Mercy is yet, it can't be THAT bad for one that has a better card on paper (tag team finals vs. three-way tag team title match, Undertaker-Brock vs. Brock-Slow(UT-Brock looked HORRIBLE on paper despite the surprising result), HHH-Kane vs. HHH-Kane-HBK-Booker-RVD-Jericho) Oh, BTW, WCW's final buyrates were DAMN low... in that company's final 15 months (Souled Out 2000 to Greed), the vast majority were between .10 to .20, with the lowest being the final PPV, Greed, at .10 and the highest being the one halfway decent buyrate... .52 for Halloween Havoc 2000.
