This show would have been a lot better if it was 2 hours with matches that built up towards Survivor Series.

 

I don't see why that can't record a few matches from House Shows, Kind of like "SuperStars" or "PrimeTime Wrestling" years ago, for shows like this.

Yeah, really, the special was just a waste of an hour. If I were booking, I'd have axed the 10-man and did a couple of single and tag matches for RAW and the triple threat and Rey/Chavo for Smackdown.

 

Two hours of that would do a hell of a lot more to pimp the PPV than what ST tried to accomplish.

good review byron, although i think you rated the SD match way too high. maybe it is because i have seen them kick so much asss but those guys are capable of so much more and i was mad disappointed.

For some reason, I liked the 10 Man. Would have been a lot better if it was longer and maybe a Elimination type Survivor Series match.

 

Wasn't as exciting as the clusterfuck at the end of Raw though. Watching Booker T step on Kane's Nuts, then Jericho landing on them from the Dropkick, then RVD 5 Star Splashing them, was almost as funny as when Nash went Boom.

I went back and watched the matches over again just 20 minutes ago and boy, does a few hours sleep work wonders for recapping. I needed to change the title anyway since I fucked it up, so I changed my ratings as well(not like it matters).

 

Next time, if ever, I'm gonna try and be well rested before writing these.

eh, for the sake of argument, you should have defended your ratings regardless of what i thought. we could have debated on whether or not substituting rey for edge would have increased the match quality or if it would even matter.

Maybe it would have helped, but considering that they barely got 10 minutes, I don't really think so even though Rey's a better worker than Edge.
