Which wrestler do you think is the best in the WWF right now, and why?

Also which wrestler do you think is the worst right now, and why?

Best:  Kurt Angle.

He's super over right now...and has had the 4 best TV matches of the year (vs. Austin, vs. HHH, vs. Jericho, vs. Kane)

Worst:  HHH  (I am taking into account his place on the card)  Aside from being carried to that one good match (NOT NO WAY OUT) by Angle...HHH is NOT on THE GAME.

Best - Kurt Angle. Angle is over as a heel. I'll even say he's over over than Jericho.

Worst - HHH. Call it ring rust if you want. I think he's too damn big. It's slowed him down a bit.

Till Benoit returns, Angle. With Austin a close second.

Worst...well its obvious, but Undertaker. I'd give HHH the benefit of the doubt and say he'll get better with more ringtime.

Best - Kurt Angle.  Austin could be the best, but his effort has been lacking lately.

Worst - Kevin Nash.  The worst wrestler in the history of wrestling, not named Jorge Gonzales.

Best: Jericho. To me he is the champ, and a great champ he is.

Worst: Rock. Lately his matches...well have been slackin, and it makes me think Undertaker is doing better.

Watch out for:

Goldust: Winning the Hardcore Belt can give this guy some credit, and be more fierce.

Kane: By the end of this year he will have the IC Belt, Tag and World Belt. Not all at once

Benoit: When he comes back, rabbid wolverine will be lookin for some gold. Hopefully against Jericho.

The holy Trinity of Angle, Benoit, and Austin. Plus the cruisers and Jericho.

Best: Angle has an incredible amount of heat right now and his in ring skills kick ass too.

Worst:

Overall: Crash Holly is a worthless pile of steaming alligator dung. Get him off my T.V.

Peron who actually is high enough on the card to have a RAW match: Rikishi is fat, slow, and hasn't had any face heat since his Too Cool days.

Actually I'd like to change my vote from HHH to Rikishi.

I had forgotten about him (thankfully) but being reminded...ugh.

I have to disagree.  A few years ago on Metal/Jakked, him and TAKA had one of the best TV matches that I've ever seen.  Crash was unfortunate enough to have been stuck in matches with fat slobs like Rikishi and Viscera in the somewhat enjoyable "superheavyweight" storyline.  Also, Crash is one of those guys that the crowd enjoys watching, and is likely to get a pop from the crowd to get them going before a TV taping starts.

What the HELL??  Now HHH is worse than Undertaker?  Billy Gunn?  Rikishi?  Maven?  Big Show?  Bradshaw?  Godfather?

I tell ya.. this board amazes me sometimes.

Well, let me break this up:

Best:

 Mat work: Angle

 Entertaining: RVD

 On the mike: Austin

Worst:

Mat work: Benoit.  No, not really.  Probably Rikishi.

 Entertaining: Regal or Taker.

 On the mike: Hardyz

Best:  there is no best since there is no wrestling, but if I have to choose one than I select Lance Storm for his match on Heat.

Worst:  Chucky Palumbo and or X-Pac for being lame champs.  Chuckys Superkick is worst than Rikishi's and X-Pac for killing the Lightweight division.

Austin, hands down.  The only worker in the fed at his level is Benoit. The only people at his level for charisma are Rock, Hogan, and Flair.  And his promos aren't as good as Flair's, Heyman's or Rock's, but they're better than most.

On workrate, alone I'd rank them:

1. Austin/Benoit - Benoit may be better as a worker, but Austin's better at playing to and controlling the crowd.

2. Angle - What can I say, he's a prodigy, and is only getting better.

3. Jericho - probably the most versitile wrestler in the uppercard, he can wrestler the cruiser, WWF main event, brawling, and garbage brawling styles.

4. Rock - He's a bit on the sloppy side, but that's because he's so damn quick.  His charisma and connection with the crowd more than makes up for any deficiencys in his workrate.

5. RVD - He's not as good of a worker as the above mentioned, but his "unorthodox" ring style and charisma really help his matches.  Plus he's a hell of a bumper.

Angle is having the best matches right now.

At the moment Angle is the best

HHH is not the worst but compared to what he used to be he is pretty bad, he should drop the excess muscle.

The worst would have to be The Undertaker or Rikishi, however the most annoying are Test and Taker

I'd have to say that right now Kurt Angle would have to be considered the best. He pulls out great match after great match, and is very over with the crowd.

Just behind him would be Chris Jericho and Steve Austin.

As for the wrost end of the scale, maybe Rikishi. He's realy doing nothing right now, and he isn't exactly putting on great matches to make up for it.

Right Now?

Angle, without a doubt. I have the utmost respect for him he sives 110% every night. It's especially impressive when you think of how long he's been in the business.

The worst is Bossman.

How can somebody whose been around so long do such a piss-poor job of making moves and punches look effective?

best wrestler overall:Kurt Angle, he's got more heel heat than Y2J and he's a great worker.

runner ups: Y2J, Austin, RVD

worst wrestler:HHH, after having a great year in 2000 and early 2001 he came back from an injury in 2002 looking like a shame instead of the game, and according to his wwf interview it seems he doesn't think he needs to go back to being the game again in the ring but behind the scenes he's got everything covered.

runner ups: Taker, Regal, Rikishi

Best: Angle is on top of his game like no one else right now. I look forward to his interviews and his in ring work like no one else right now. Jericho is still my personal fav, but Angle is MVP right now.

Worst: Bossman or Godfather. Neither is over neither is entertaining in the ring. All of you who said that HHH is the worst are out of your mind, and nothing but spastic chumps. I'll gladly watch HHH over Big Show, Bossman, Godfather, Nash, and Rikishi etc.

Worst is a very hard question to answer because the mid-carders don't get much time to show anything.  I guess I would say Godfather.

Best is Angle.  He is the most over heel in the company (though I don't know how much is just the fans like to chant "you suck" to his music and how much is genuine heel heat.)  He also has great matches.  I've never seen a Kane match I would give even 3 stars to.  Except for when he wrestles Angle.  Angle even got a decent match out of Taker late last year.  This year, he has had the best match on every Raw so far.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I don't think that even Benoit will be at this level when he returns.

As for HHH, he is not at the level he was in 2000, but I'm sure he will get there eventually.  Maybe sooner rather than later, if his match with Angle is any indication.

hmmm i would have to say the best and worst are

Best

Worker: JERICHO closley followed by ANGLE

Entertainment: say it with me ROB VAN DAM

Worst

Worker: TEST (so bad he makes Rikishi look like a technical genius)

Entertainment: GODFATHER

Guest AlwaysPissedOff

Best: Out of the current active roster, i'd go with Jericho/Angle/Austin(when he isn't sleepwalking in his matches like right now)

Worst: Rikishi or Godfather- neither should be allowed anywhere near the ring ever again.

Guest Supafly420

Best:  No doubt in my mind:  Angle.  Jericho follows closely behind.  RVD is up there entertainment wise.

Worst:  HHH is just isn't what he used to be.  That stupid little choke move he's been doing annoys the piss outta me.  But he's still not the worst.  He could never be the worst with guys like Godfather, Undertaker, Rikishi, Test and Albert around.

Best workers: Austin, Jericho, light-heavyweights.

Worst workers: I don't see how people can say HHH was the worse, just because he's not as good as he was before. Worse has to be Godfather, Big Show, Albert, something along those lines.

Austin/Angle hands down.

Austin as a heel was absolutely amazing, and he seems to be going back to a more generic style now.

I can't help but watch every word when he or Angle is on my TV.

I cannot stress enough my respect for Steve Williams, he is the best of all time to me.

Flair is great, Hogan did a lot, but I appreciate Austin the most. (Flaime Guard ON)

Worst: Rikishi and Godfather.  Nothing going here.  Rikishi was very credible and entetaining when he had more moves 9 his piledriver, toss up cutter, and top rope splashes.  He still has a shot, but he better shake off all the half ass fat guy work.

Pretty interesting comments guys.  I think I agree with most of you.....

Best as of Now: Kurt Angle has been doing his job as a wrestler and an entertainer and has potential to be a VERY big legend once he gets even better than he is.  I always have enjoyed him and I will continue to do so, as long as he's always producing well.  Besides Kurt Angle, I feel Steve Austin and Chris Jericho are also the best, because without them (and Angle), the WWF would be WCW 2000 and maybe even worse.  Austin's mic work is always stellar, and Jericho is doing very well for himself as well.  Angle/Austin/Jericho/and then Benoit when he gets back are the three best wrestlers of the WWF, and have been for a very long time.

Worst as of Now: Some people are singling out Triple H, since his bulkiness and ring rust are becoming apparent, but he isn't the worst.  Triple H is somewhere in the middle, maybe a little less, but at WM and beyond I feel he'll get back into his game.  To me, the worst wrestler on the roster is definitely Rikishi and followed by Undertaker.  Rikishi has no point in being on television, and his fatass only crowds the camera.  Undertaker has been past his prime since 98-99, and should hang up the tights.  He's become a legend/liability to the roster with his lack of workrate or effort.

Anybody who said HHH is the worst wrestler in the fed, I don't know how I can take any of their posts seriously any more.

HHH isn't the worst wrestler in the WWF, but he is perhaps the least deserving of his place on the card.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21

As i said in my post...I voted for HHH because I took into account his place on the card.

Rikishi and Godfather are worse...but they don't take of 20-30 mintues of Raw every week.

HHH is the worst main event wrestler (right now) since Big Show had the strap.
