Guest JHawk Report post Posted March 4, 2002 I voted for Heenan, but there were some good managers on that list. Grand Wizard's a little before my time, but I've seen some tapes of him and can't for the life of me figure out how he was so successful.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted March 4, 2002 I say Heenan was the best. I also thought Jim Cornette and Paul E. Dangerously were awesome as well.
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted March 4, 2002 Heenan's the best ever IMO. Also I'd put Cornette on the list.. instead of Slick probably. But whatever.. Some other favorites: Cornette, Paul E., Bill Alfonso, Jackal/Cyrus, and Mr. Perfect when he managed.
Guest Metallica Report post Posted March 4, 2002 I voted for Jim Cornette, mainly for his work in the WWF in the mid 90s (and those segments on Raw in late 97 where he'd share his opinions that where "not neccessarily those of the WWF or anyone else but probably are" on guys like Nash, Syxx, Hall, Foley, Bischoff, Hogan, Piper, Flair, WCW etc..classic) Paul E Dangerously comes second for his entertaining phone work Loved the way when his guy was in trouble, he'd get on the phone and complain to the person he was supposedly talking to lol *Lex Luger beats down on Mean Mark* *Paul E dials number..."He's pulling hair, Maurry!"*
Guest converge241 Report post Posted March 4, 2002 At lot of quality on that list. I give cornette the nod because of bias, I love his philosophy and booking mentality. That's the tiebreaker for me between him Heenan, and Heyman.
