Don't read this thread if you don't want to know what the current mindset the WWE has in regards to the main events Sunday at the Survivor Series.

 

This is all from the cover story of the latest Torch.

 

 

 

 

Okay.

 

According to the Torch, Vince McMahon is actually considering having Big Show beat Brock Lesnar for the WWE title so they can extend the feud for another month and presumably, Lesnar would then win the title back at Armageddon.

 

As for the World Title match, Keller says there is about a 97 percent chance that either Triple H or Shawn Michaels is winning the match. Triple H is suggesting that Michaels wins the match and the title. They can then have a rematch at next month's PPV with Triple H winning the title back. Losing won't hurt Triple H at all because he can blame it on the fact that 5 guys were after him, and then he'll win the rematch the following month.

 

Vince McMahon is changing his mind daily on who should win - Triple H or Shawn Michaels. There's apparently no thought of anyone else actually winning the title.

 

This being the WWE, everything is likely to change 10 times between now and Sunday. But it certainly isn't looking promising for anyone actually hoping that someone new was going to get elevated.

I really hope that this is a ruse by WWE to get the people thinking one thing will happen, then do a big switcheroo.

 

I mean, didn't everyone think that HHH was gonna lose at WrestleMania 16 to either Rock or Foley?

 

Wasn't it almost confirmed that Foley was gonna win the belt, then vacate it the next night?

Of all the backstage rumors and gossip, I don't think I've ever heard one that I've hoped is NOT true more than this one.

 

HBK I could half-see, like the Hogan nostalgia one. I sure don't like it, but it would be better than Mr. Stephanie.

 

Having HHH go over five guys, Vince might as well have RVD work the t-shirts stands and broadcast two hours of dead air instead of Raw.

 

As for Lesnar/Show, what amazes me is that they sacrifice all this shit to try to get Lesnar over, and it's not working out the way they hoped, even though it seems people are warming up to the guy a little. So they try to get out of the angle in one of the worst ways possible.

 

Vince might as well take the belt, and take a dump on it in the middle of the ring. Fuck, the golden thong award thing has more prestiege.

 

I really hope this is a leaked bit to send the Smarks into a tizzy. If so, it worked. I'm scared.

MSG would about riot if midway through the show Big Show won the PPV and in the main event HHH won.

 

Seriously, that would turn off a large crowd that paid a lot of money for those tickets. I go on record now that if EITHER of those things occur, the next RAW or SMACKDOWN that comes to MSG will not even come close to selling out. If its house show, they sell 8,000 tickets tops.

Monday morning on this board should be WOW, FINALLY ONE OF OUR GUYS IS CHAMP and WOW, THAT TAG MATCH WAS THE GREATEST THING I EVER SAW.

 

Not, I cant believe HHH and Big Show are champions and I will never buy a WWE PPV again.

It said Vince hasn't decided about the Lesnar/Big Show outcome. My guess would be a cheap finish, with a rematch at Armageddon. Like what happened with the Undertaker/Brock.
