Guest EricMM Report post Posted November 15, 2002 I'm serious. Does anyone know of any current series that are anywhere near as funny/excellent/good as this series?

Guest starvenger Report post Posted November 15, 2002 I've been meaning to check those out at the library. I need a change from my usual Star Wars/Shannara/Dragonriders vices
Guest gthureson Report post Posted November 15, 2002 Pick up the Rincewind stuff, Pyramids, Small Gods, and any book that features Death as a character. Death is one of the best characters in the Discworld books. Death's grand daughter is pretty cool too.
Guest Dace59 Report post Posted November 15, 2002 Death is in every book. Just not big roles. He books with him as the main focus are cool. His whole family reakess of awesomeness
Guest EricMM Report post Posted November 15, 2002 But are there any series which are as funny and such good reads? The death books (Hogfather, Reaperman), are good, but so are the witches (Wyrd Sisters, Masqurade), wizards (Interesting times, The Last Continent), but ESPECIALLY the Night Watch books are awsome (Guards Guards!, Jingo, the 5th Elephant, Feet of Clay, etc.) So many books. And I own them all hahahhaahahh
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted November 16, 2002 There was a series of books that came out in the 80s or early 90s called Wild Cards which I really loved at the time. Think a funny and twisted version of Astro City. Unfortunately, most of them are OOP, but some libraries may still have them.
