Snow: Does it suck or not?

You would think that since I live in Canada, I get a lot of snow, right? Nope. All I get is f'n rain. God damn rain. So I appriciate snow when I get it, so I voted for snow is good.

Snow's just DANDY until you get mountains of the wretched shit dumped on your dome from lake effect. Thankfully I'm not that close to the Chicago area, so I don't catch hell quite as bad as they do. Although I must say digging your car out of the veritable collapsed igloo the plow has tossed upon it gets quite tiresome.

Snow is great until you have to drive in it. Then it becomes my worst enemy. It is bad enough that I am a shitty driver. Add snow and you have a dangerous combo. Thank God I live in San Antonio where we have had two snowfalls in the last 17 years.

i live in georgia, where it only snows once every 2 years and it never sticks for more than a day or two, so i love it. snow is bad if and only if i'm driving. other than that, it's fun and very pretty. and it's funny to see my dogs react to it.

I hate winter and i loathe snow. If i never saw the terrible white stuff again it would be too soon. I have no use for snow. I don't give a shit about looking at it & I don't need the shit for Christmas.

 

The closest i'd like to get to snow is white sand. Unfortunaly i live in Ohio therefore can't escape the cold of winter nor snow. Luckily where i live we hardly ever get snow that amounts to anything, but we still get the cold.

I live in Los Angeles and I thank God each winter that it does not snow over here and allows me to have no horror stories about being snowed in or being caught in a blizzard like some poor people.

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE snow, and I can blame it all on last winter.

 

I swear, all winter, the weather was an assload of snow that stayed just long enough for me to have to shovel it out. Then it'd rain and melt the snow away. Then it'd snow AGAIN, and I'd have to shovel MORE.

 

Also, the roads are FUCKING HELL. The roads out my way were ripped to shit after last winter. And during the winter, it's even better! I can hardly go ten feet out of the fucking house because my parents are paranoid I'll get in an accident again (To be fair, I never hurt anyone somehow. Thank God I live in the boonies where no one else is on the road at 11:45, or I'd be dead).

 

Have you had to cut a rare date with a woman you were deeply in love with due to winter? Huh? No? Fuck you then.

 

Also, there's this little gem...

 

I work at Wal-Mart, as a cart pusher. This means that I spend a LOT of time outside. In the summer, it's awesome. In the winter, well...have YOU ever had to push carts through snow? Sure, a tiny bit makes it easier, but too much and I'm throwing my back out pushing 5 fucking carts.

 

And snow means it's cold. I hate cold. Hate hate hate.

I lived in Maine for 18 years. Maine gets lots of snow.

 

First chance I got, I booked my ass down to North Carolina. North Carolina doesn't get much snow, and hasn't so far.

 

I have to go home to Maine for the holidays, where there will be lots of snow. I'm not happy about this fact, and most likely will take hostages for some ignorant reason.

 

What do you think my answer is?
