Guest ozzysheadlessbattheonlinelegend Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 On the radio advertisement for tonight's Simpsons, it says Bart may have to repeat the third grade with Lisa. Is this another flashback episode, because I don't get it?
Guest DragonflyKid Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Looks like another "we have run out of fresh idea's episode." I think they should skip ahead five or ten years for next season, I have always liked the episodes/segments that have taken place in the future. All the characters would have aged five or ten years which would open up the storylines. Then again drastically changing the formula could have the show go from mediocre to awful.
Guest ozzysheadlessbattheonlinelegend Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 But what I mean is, Bart's supposed to be in the 5th grade already. It's been well-established, and also everyone knows he's ten years old. So what the hell is with that commercial?
Guest MDH257 Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Maybe it's a commercial for a repeat on the local station.
Guest El Satanico Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 The story is that Lisa is moved up to the third grade while Bart is moved back to the third grade. "Critics compare it to The Odd Couple: The Grade School Years"
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 go to snpp.com and you can read about it
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 The ending to the clip show states the obvious!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 The Simpsons get a Satellite dish.. You really can watch the news feeds like that, I'll though I got tired of that a long time ago. LOL at Bender.. Im guessing a majority of people didn't watch.. Tonights new episode was pretty good, funnier than I thought it would be in fact. The Marge gets enhanced episode is next week, can't wait for that....
Guest Incandenza Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 But what I mean is, Bart's supposed to be in the 5th grade already. It's been well-established, and also everyone knows he's ten years old. So what the hell is with that commercial? Bart's in the 4th grade, not 5th. Tonight's episode was a letdown after the two previous good ones. More dated humor--Ooh! Way to stick it to reality tv shows, guys!--though some of the stuff in Capital City was fun. I give it a C.
Guest HBK16 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I missed the first 2 ones so I cant really compare this one to them but I didnt think it was that bad. Next weeks might be a little strange though. Marge getting implants?
