Anyone else think that they're a bunch of idiots. It makes watching the Sunday Night game hard anymore.

 

Hearing them suck up to Shockey last week was rather irritating considering he hasn't done much.

I like it when all three of them try to play off of the same joke. During the replays of that Teddy Bruschi Toe-Interception, one of them says:

 

"If he's wearing a size 10 shoe, the ball hits the ground.

 

Says Theismann: "And if it's a 10 1/2, it hit his foot."

 

Says the 3rd: "And if it's an 11, then....uh....he's got a messed up ankle."

For some reason I don't mind listening to these three, although now that I know Mike Patrick is a liberal (He said so in when Jimmy I'll-stop-North-Korea-from-making-nukes Carter entered the booth for one segment a few weeks ago in Atlanta).

 

And yes, the Shockey rim shots are getting a bit tiresome -- Week 1 vs. the 49ers was another love-fest...

I personally like the trio of announcers. They'll admit when they're wrong and they have good chemistry. Mike Patrick may kiss some ass, but he does a great job with play-by-play.

Honestly Mike Patrick would kiss Hitler's ass if he was in the both. He might be a liberal, but it's hard to say because he kissed up to Carter.

I like these guys; they're enthusiastic and fun to listen to.

 

I especially like when Paul McGuire and Joe Theismann start bitching at play calls, not carrying the ball with two hands, or whatever.

 

They keep you awake and interested.

I agree with the ass-kissing complaints, listening to them grovel over David Carr and Houston in week one was really annoying. Otherwise I usually like the Sunday Night game, although I suspect that has more to do with the quality of the games (tonight's game was my favorite this year of any I've watched).
