ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 18, 2002 You don't think Big Show's worst than Lesnar? Aww shit, the Big Show. Oh, who cares. It's not Lesnar, and this reign can't last long at all. Until then, I'll just paste a picture of Eddy over his face or something. You do know that the WWE is probably just using this reign by the Big Show to keep the title warm until Lesnar is healed. Like it or not, Brock Lesnar will probably get that title back sometime before WrestleMania XIX
Guest snowfan Report post Posted November 18, 2002 There is a rule that transcends the home grown talent law and that is the Vince has a boner for big men law. How does 1992 Ric Flair fit in then? Remember, he was WCW Champion long before came to the WWF...and was given the WWF Championship shortly after he debuted. because quite simply vinny is a Flair mark... People could have been saying the same thing about Kurt Angle back in 1999-2000. Just think about that. And I think Kurt had less training time in WWF comparitively than Lesnar did. Lesnar worked OVW for a few years...Angle had about a year of house shows. Just something to think about.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 18, 2002 And when we compare them Initial Kurt push: Matches: At least decent most of the time Heat: Excellant Initial Brock Push: Matches: Shit on a stick Heat: Not there until September/October.

Lesnar pretty much a lock to get it back since you KNOW that Vince thinks SD! is kicking the shit out of RAW because Brock is champ, not because of the Sinister Six. (Not really how I feel, but I think you'd have to concede Lesnar is a pretty important cog in the SmackDown machine at this point.

More like August. I watched Summerslam. And I feel that Lesnar's matches are pretty good. Shit on a Stick is what I reserve for Zeus and Giant Gonzales. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Even if it was August, that would still be unacceptable. But it was only onw night in August, so it doesn't count. (Plus, you could have thrown me out there gainst Rocky and I would have gotten cheered with that fan mentality that night, but not important.)

AS, you are such a moron: Kurt didn't have heat for a month or two. Originally he was pushed down our throats on nothing but comedy skits. Oh, and early Kurt matches SUCKED. Brock has heat, he's gotten two good matches out of UNDERTAKER. He got a match out of Hulk Hogan, where the sole complaint was the use of a bearhug, and that was used to symbolize Brock crushing Hulkamania. He has not had an unwatchable match yet and his match with Eddy was the best guilty pleasure of the year. (Come on, Esse!) He's doing great.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 18, 2002 . He has not had an unwatchable match yet The cena match, the chuck match, the Orton match, the Holly match, the test match, the stasiak match, the RVD KotR match, the Henry match, the Rikishi matches, the four Hardy matches, The first Taker match, the Flair match, the Hogan match. Hated everyone of them. Granted, some of them were doomed from the start, but he had a chance to have a good match with some of them. Kurt didn't have heat for a month or two. I'll take you're word for it. But are you comparing being heatless for two months and then getting the title ten months later to being heatless for five months right up to the title match? Oh, and early Kurt matches SUCKED. He had some good matches with Jericho and Benoit in there, And like two good early ones with the Rock. Depends on what your cut off for early is. You are ghey, and care little for wrestling and a lot about some phantom system of pushes, politics and wins/losses. After arguing with you a few times this is the sad unescapable conclusion to which I come. You would rather have Big Show as champion then Brock. Your opinion is thus rendered invalid. There, I think I saved everyone the bother of yet another pointless Anglesault argument. Ha, I remember when I lurked here for a bit and he was on his deranged "cruiserweights are shite" schtick. I think its obvious he cares little for actual wrestling.

Cena: Not unwatchable. Not good but not unwatchable Chuck: It wasn't bad at all. Holly: The Holly match was fine until Bob started being an asshole, and you know it. Orton: It was a squash. What did you expect? It's supposed to be a two-minute shitkicking. Test: Kieth went higher than DUD on it. Plus it was better than Angle/Test Staisiak: See: Orton RVD: Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling Henry: See: Orton Rikishi: See: Orton Hardy: See: Orton Taker: WRONG. It was fine until the bullshit ending. Try again, sunshine Flair: WRONG. It was a good back and forth contest. I liked it, so did Keith Hogan: The Hogan match did exactly what it was supposed to. Goit Brock over as a merciless animal. 2. Kurt got an UNPRECEDENTED rookie year push. He did everything, and didn't really get any heat till No Way Out 2000 3. Early Kurt matches sucked. He didn't know what the audience wanted yet.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted November 18, 2002 I want Show to have a short run. And lose to someone good. What's wrong with that? Maybe If Brock goes on a good match streak and stays over, I can be statisfied with a second title run.

Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted November 19, 2002 In case anyone was still debating it, Michael Cole actually made a point of mentioning Lesnar's unbeaten streak. I think people don't give enough credit to non-smarks. You don'thave to be a smark to know that Lesnar was undefeated prior to Survivor Series. Why are we supposed to forget the past three years of wrestling? Big Show has sucked since he came in to the WWF. 1999 - Entered as heel. Turned face. Turned heel. Turned face. Gained wieght. Had a shitty feud with Bossman. Never got over. 2000 - Turned heel again. Sucked some more ass. Tried his hand as funny fat guy. Turned face. Got fatter. Hawked Beefaronie. Sucked some more ass. Got sent to developmental territory to shed some pounds. Came back as a heel. Allegedly lost weight. Looked fatter than before. Had new ring attire. JR put him over as lighter than before. 2001 - Alledgedly lost 100+ pounds but is still called a 500 pound monster. Possibly turned face. Possibly turned heel. Possibly turned face. Possibly turned heel. Did some jobbing. Did some eating. Did some jobbing. Did some eating. Did some other shit that no one cares about. 2002 - Looked like a fat bitch. Jobbed. Went over Booker T. Jobbed. Looked like a fat bitch. Jobbed. Looked like a fat bitch. Jobbed. Tried to be cool. Jobbed. Chokeslammed some people. Looked like a fat bitch. Jobbed. Got traded to Smackdown and started a feud with Lesnar. Started wrestling in street clothes. Went over Lesnar in 4 minutes. Is the future of the company.
