I don't think that HBK will wrestle tomorrow, but he will defend the belt on RAW. At least by next week. I hope Show leaves the belt in a cab so Vince will strip it from him!

I'm really mixed on this one.

 

First, I've always been a huge Shawn mark, there's no doubt about that. He entertains the hell out of me.

 

BUT...Shawn 2002 is not Shawn 1997. And I doubt he's going to stay overly active in the ring. And I think everyone knew who the last two guys in the match would be...hell, the last 3. AND, the big gold belt means nothing now...

 

You knew Shawn and Hunter would be the last 2, and I had a feeling Jericho would be the number 3 guy just so they could have the 2 heels work over the one babyface.

 

So I really don't know how I feel about it.

Long Term -

 

HBK probably wrestles Jericho (a nice change of pace but it won't draw..)at Armageddon and RVD and HHH (if they aren't hurt or anything..) have a #1 contender's match.

 

HHH and HBK win and they can headline another Big 5 PPV (Royal Rumble) with HHH winning back the title. Past that Im stumped..

I totally marked out when HBK won the World Title. For nostalgic(sp?) purposes, it was good to see HBK win the title. Now, I'm hoping he drops the belt to Jericho at Armageddon, and goes on to face HHH in one final match at Wrestlemania 19.

I'm hoping they go with Jericho first since it has legitimate claims and HHH can cost HBK the title (to get back his heat). Then they can knock each other out at the rumble, tag at NWO, and make it to Mania whereas RVD or Booker can win the Rumble and head to WrestleMania. Booker makes a lot of sense.

call me jaded, but this sunday's BOOKING broke something in me. I'm sure the wrestling was fine, I didn't (couldn't) see it. But in terms of who holds the belts, I am so PO'd. Why why why!?

God-boy will come out on RAW tonight and vacate the title, telling everyone he lost his keys.

 

HHH will fight in a #1 contenders match against inflatable Katie Vick. The match will take 30 minutes. Jericho will take the pinfall wearing a dress.

 

Meanwhile, Vince will be in his office counting the imaginary money coming in.

I too marked out when HBK won. I admit it. I had missed all the other times Shawn won a title live and this was the first time I saw him win one live.

 

And the crowd was incredible. The confetti and the crowd was roaring when Shawn won.
