Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted November 18, 2002 Not much this week. Fubar Funny, authentic "mockumentary" about 2 rockers living in Calgary get's a fully loaded special edition release featuring commentaries, deleted scenes and more. This DVD is only available in Canada, so you Yankee's will have to order it from here. Godthumb The latest "Thumbation" comedy from Steve O. For fans only. The Last Seduction Linda Fiorentino's breakout movie theft, drugs and murder arrives on DVD in a cheaply priced, barebones release. Oblivion Campy futuristic western/sci-fi film also arrives on DVD in a cheaply priced, fullscreen, barebones release. Artisan suck as always for DVD releases. Reign of Fire Entertaining, yet somewhat cheesy and illogical film about Dragon's taking over the world benefits from some good F/X and an over the top performance from Matthew McConaughey. The DVD's extras are pretty weak. 'Till next week.
Guest Gamengiri2002 Report post Posted November 19, 2002 Hey! Glengarry Glen Ross gets the Special Edition treatment tommorrow. But I guess not everyone is waiting with bated breath... not to say that they shouldn't be.

Guest starvenger Report post Posted November 19, 2002 Funny, I loathed Jared Leto everytime this stupid show came on, but everytime he is in a movie, I respect him more and more EVERYTIME....Fight Club, Panic Room, Requiem for a Dream.....all his movie rules ROCK BOATS.... I actually thought that Panic Room rather sucked, but that was more because I didn't enjoy the story rather than poor acting or direction. The Jack Black/Will Farrell parody of it, however, RULED!! Ahem, back on topic, it looks like I'm not getting anything this week. Just as well, as my car's getting fixed and I should really save some money for that. Guest areacode212 Report post Posted November 19, 2002 I thought Panic Room sucked too, for the same reason as you, but yeah, Jared Leto was pretty good in it.
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted November 19, 2002 The reason Panic Room sucked is because it was horrible. Seemed like the script was made with a paint by number kit. If I wanna watch women trapped in a house I'll stick with Wait Until Dark and Lady in a Cage.
Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Robin Williams Live on Broadway came out today too. I'd make a run to the store for it, but I got to watch my money
Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted November 20, 2002 I loved Panic Room.
Guest MDH257 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 I think some people are really negative to Panic Room because it suffers in comparison to "Seven" and "Fight Club".
Guest C.H.U.D. Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Panic Room was great.

Guest Crucifixio Jones Report post Posted November 20, 2002 I went to Best Buy this Tues morning for one reason and one reason alone...to FINALLY buy Glengarry Glenn Ross. Fuck all that other shit...Ross is the most important and BEST release this week. How it was overlooked, considering how fans have been demanding a DVD release for the longest time, in the first post is beyond me.
