LaParkaYourCar Posted November 19, 2002 Report Posted November 19, 2002 Well teeth gnashers, you can calm yourselves down now. Last years contract extension, as it turns out, was for TWO years, not one. The MST3K reruns will continue far beyond the end of January '03. The elusive bobdenby In a rare posting appearance Oh I hope this person is right. This was found on the message boards at www.mst3k.com which is the MST3K page on Sci-fi.com
Guest Vern Gagne Posted November 19, 2002 Report Posted November 19, 2002 Call me when Dr.Clayton Forester and TV's Frank return, and that lady gets fired. Than the show might be worth watching again.
Guest godthedog Posted November 19, 2002 Report Posted November 19, 2002 Call me when Dr.Clayton Forester and TV's Frank return, and that lady gets fired. Than the show might be worth watching again. "that lady" has been with the show since the 4th season and is as much a member of the team as mike or kevin. she also screens the hundreds of movies they have to sift through to decide what to put on tv. you may not want her in front of the camera anymore, but i doubt you really want her fired.
LaParkaYourCar Posted November 19, 2002 Author Report Posted November 19, 2002 Ummmmmmm they haven't made new episodes in years. It wouldn't matter these are all reruns. Plus I have no problem with the cast. It's still freakin hilarious to me.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 They need to get back the head writers when the show was in it's prime on Comedy Central back in the early 90's.
Guest Kagato Otaku Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 The show's not made anymore. Bringing back anybody is fruitless. Sci-Fi doesn't own the rights to any of the Comedy Central episodes. If you like them, buy what you can and burn whatever's left.
Guest MDH257 Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Mike Nelson was the head writer from season 2 until the end. That includes the Comedy Central glory years. BTW, it's true. The Sci-Fi reruns are continuing for another year.

Guest Zack Malibu Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Excellent. Now I can get that damn elusive Hobgoblins episode!
