Yeah it was Havoc 97.......and I'm certain it was all a work made out to look like a shoot. I guess it was a different way for Savage and Hogan to get heat or something, definately a stupid idea though.

Thats what gave it all away that is was a work. Nobody was doing anything until the guy got down on the other side of the cage.

Not to mention these "incidents" happened every other week on Nitro around that time period. Why they did them, I have no clue...

Oh my god, I didn't remember this until I was reading this thread...but speaking of "fans" interfering - does anyone remember the guy that like jumped out of the crowd on Nitro in late 96 and gave Schiavone a video tape to play before security took him away. And afterwards, Schiavone was all "Give me a break ... fans, do yourselves a favor, don't try anything stupid when you come to the TV shows."

 

It was some lame ass music video Piper did in the early 90s where he makes some slight comment about Hogan - therefore WCW could play off the fact that there was still some tension there and that hopefully people would care if they fought again. (off in the distance, Cartman says "Oh my god, you guys are so lame...")

I just watched AAA When World's Collide, and during the shitty horrible wretched putrid Konnan/Aguayo cage match, Eddie beats the FUCK out of some fan at ringside. He gets pulled off and shit, but goes right back after him. That's two times I can recall Eddie bustin' a fan in the kisser, along with the time he rocked on that moron in the ladder match w/ RVD.
