Guest Dmann2000 Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Didn't see anyone start this, but Coburn was a real cool actor and he had that great gravely voice. Damn, my dream of him playing John Huston will never be realized now. At least I heard he died listening to music with a smile on his face.

Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted November 20, 2002 3 left, Robert Vaughan, Charles Bronson and Brad Dexter. Steve McQueen, Yul Brenner, Jorge Martinez de Hoyos and now James Coburn are all dead from the original film. Eli Wallach who played the bandit Calvera is still alive. Coburn was really a great actor who walked that thin line of trading on his image and being recognized as a fine actor to a T. His voice and face were instantly recognizable and I guess this leaves Jack Palance as the most grizzled man in Hollywood.

Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Palance has pretty much just made a bunch of forgettable tv movies and direct to video crap. Recently he played Ted Danson's father in the CBS mini-series Living with the Dead.
