How should the split be booked?

Rumors are that the split will occur shortly after WM 18 (they are booking other house shows on the night of Smackdown taping).  However, the split hasn't been mentioned on TV at all.  With Flair in Asia (along with Rock, Y2J, and a lot of others), nothing may happen this Raw to explain the split either.  

 

Vince brought in the nWo to inject a "poison" into the WWF to kill it.  However, he hasn't explained how adding 3 wrestlers will kill the WWF.  Thus, Rock/Hogan or Austin/Hall should probably lead in some way to the split.  I guess the nWo should go over at WM, somehow leading to a split on the next Raw, with Rock being upset and refusing to work with nWo members (rumors are that Rock will headline the company without the nWo members and Austin will headline the other).

 

The problem is that there is no logic to splitting now and they need several more weeks to lead to this (for example, Angle, HHH, and Y2J are completely uninvolved in the nWo storyline.  To just have them join one faction or the other so suddenly would be confusing.)

 

How would you book the split?
