Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Damn, what a nice start. Anyway, who does everyone think the Mavs will lose to first? Winner gets a cookie. And I hope it's going to be Mavs/Kings in the NBA Western conf. Finals.
Guest razazteca Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 the Spurs but it might some team you would never expect like Memphis or New Orleans
Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Spurs......(Shakes head as he remembers the worst year in NBA history) Ah, anyway, I agree. Golden State gonna beat 'em, As their on a roll lately.
Guest Max Danger Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 11-0 now, beat the Lakers 98-72 tonight(Tuesday). Go Mavericks! Dunno who'll beat them first. Sonics, Spurs, anyone really. Probably be the Knicks though. Dunno why though. Just would be kinda funny.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Mavericks are my favorite team because they score points. 11 straight is a nice streak. But their still 22 games away from tieing the 72-73 Lakers 33 game winning streak. That is untouchable.
Guest Bricks Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 Hmmm, next ten games are against... Houston, Seattle, @ Detroit, @ Indiana, Chicago, Toronto, @ Portland, @ LA Lakers, @ Golden State, and LA Clippers. I'll say Chicago.
Guest Choken One Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 I'll call a huge one here...They'll job to Toronto. Then they'll proceed to relaunch an LONGER win streak of 19.
Guest Max Danger Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 If the Seattle game was on the road, I'd pick them, but it's in Dallas, so no go. I say either Indiana, or they'll keep going and lose to Golden State.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 20, 2002 Report Posted November 20, 2002 who cares? It's November.
Guest razazteca Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Bawh Gawd the match up of Rockets vs Mavs is turning out to be the International HOSS game of the season as Nowinski & Bradley are matching up well against Yao Ming. The shot blocking specialist stick man Bradley is playing fierce defense against Ming blocking some shots but Ming no sell the stick man and channels the fighting spirit of the great Hakeem doing jump shots over the Mavs big men getting 21 POINTS! in the 1st half! Bawh Gawd the Rockets might end the winning streak tonight on the Mavs home court.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 He's at 29 points now and 15 rebounds. The Rockets are sure to lose, but I didn't expect to see an improvement with Yao Ming THIS fast. I just hope he keeps it up.
Guest razazteca Posted November 22, 2002 Report Posted November 22, 2002 Yao Ming is still bad on Defense as guards can just run down the lane for an easy lay up or dunk as Eduardo Naraja did. Ming is nearly unstoppable in the paint on the offensive side as he will go for the high % jump shots and that dunk on Bradley is a poster just waiting to be made.
Guest razazteca Posted November 29, 2002 Report Posted November 29, 2002 it looks like the Pacers are going to be the team to give the Mavs the 1st loss.
