Guest bravesfan Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Alright, after doing a deep scan of nfl.com, espn.com and various team sites, I have chosen the 2 "Lock of the Week" games wisely, between 2 EVENLY MATCHED teams. The games are: Buffalo at N.Y. Jets St. Louis at Washington Put the "Lock of the Week" tag to the game you want to risk... WEEK TWELVE SCHEDULE Atlanta at Carolina Buffalo at N.Y. Jets Cincinnati at Pittsburgh Cleveland at New Orleans Detroit at Chicago Jacksonville at Dallas Minnesota at New England San Diego at Miami St. Louis at Washington Tennessee at Baltimore Kansas City at Seattle Oakland at Arizona Green Bay at Tampa Bay N.Y. Giants at Houston Indianapolis at Denver Philadelphia at San Francisco (Monday)

Guest bravesfan Report post Posted November 20, 2002 *BUMP* --Remember, an incorrect "Lock of the Week" Prediction deducts (1) point from your week score, while a correct prediction adds (1) point to it. --The bonus cut-off will be at 13 correct predictions for the remainder of the year. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Most of my picks were made using the magical football picking hat of DOOM, except for the 3 obvious games of the week. Atlanta (obvious) Buffalo Pittsburgh New Orleans Chicago Jacksonville (obvious) New England Miami St. Louis [LOCK OF THE WEEK](obvious) Baltimore Seattle Oakland Tampa Bay Houston Indianapolis San Francisco (Monday) You might as well give everyone the lock of the week bonus, with St. Louis at Washington being one of the options...Thats not just a [LOCK OF THE WEEK], its a [LOCK OF THE MILLENIUM] I don't care if Faulk can't play, don't care if Warner is still hurt and Bulger is still hurt..The Redskins don't have a chance. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Warner (a record of 0-4 this year) is starting, Faulk is out....not really a total [LOCK OF THE WEEK], if you ask me... Its a [LOCK OF THE WEEK] because WASHINGTON absolutely SUCKS. Not to mention that Danny Wuerfel is going to be the Redskins starting QB, and Steve Spurrier can't for his life commit to running the damn football knowing that all 3 QBs on the Roster aren't going to be able to handle throwing the ball 25-35 times a game, and yet Stephen Davis could handle 30 carries a game, but is only getting about 20 carries, if that. At this point, next week, Im taking the Cowboys to beat them on Thanksgiving because 1 - Dallas has won 9 straight vs the Skins, 2 - The Cowboys have a good enough defense to shut out the Redskins and 3 - The Cowboys can at least score 3 points, if not more, vs the Redskins. Im not taking the Redskins again this year, even against Houston. The Redskins will not win another game all year, go 4-12, Spurrier will get fired (You know its going to happen), Marvin Lewis will go off to Michigan State (He deserves a head coaching job somewhere anyway). Next year will be another "We're going to the Super Bowl this year for sure" year because of a couple of big moves that Dan Snyder pulls off during the offseason that will be absolute busts during the regular season. DAN SNYDER needs to sell the team and go find some other team to ruin. Im done with this crap, and I will become a full time Ravens fan since they are at least doing better at 4-6 then they should be and are at least going in somewhat of the right direction where they could make the playoffs next year with a couple of offseason moves after losing everyone in this past offseason.
