My favorite episode is "The Puerto Rican Day" - but 90% of the people I talk to have never seen it due to it only running once and then being "banned" due to the flag burning incident.

The part where Jerry, George and Kramer sneak into the apartment showing to see the baseball game is CLASSIC.

Damn activist groups.

BEST: The Contest (which I believe is on TBS today) - Best Sitcom Episode Ever!!!!

WORST: The One where George thinks he is having a heart attack and end up seeing a new age healer. It's an old episode that really sucked. The Pilot was pretty bad too.

The Parking Garage.

Susan dies is the worst episode.

What are you talking about? I've seen this episode several times. Sure, I heard some groups protested over the burning flag and stuff but I never heard they banned it or anything. Anyway, I agree it's a terrific episode, and if you haven't seen it you missed some classic stuff.

Oh my, I have several favorites (Seinfeld is my favorite show ever), but today I'll have to say the "Soup Nazi" episode. I can watch that over and over and I'll end up on stitches every damn time.

Least favorite? Maybe when George has that heart-attack.

Give us Seinfeld on DVD, dammit!!

Alot of the very early shows were not good.

My favourite is the one where Jerry gets infused with Kramer and Newman's blood. Man it cracks me up every time.

When I said banned I meant "pulled from syndication". Well, it hasn't ran on my local affiliate yet at least.

I've only seen the Puerto Rican Day episode once on syndication. It's not banned, but stations are relunctant to show it.

My favourite has got to be the episode where George and Kramer's friend (I forget his name right now) are fighting over the parking spot in front of Jerry's building.

Least favourite is probably one of the earlier ones, like the pilot.

My least favourite was one where I think Jerry was robbed. I didn't even watch it all, I just vaguely remember George and Jerry visiting another house or maybe an apartment for Jerry to live in.

My favourite... there are so many to choose from but I guess the one where George does everything opposite is probably my favourite.

The Puerto Rican Day episode runs in syndication here. Was on just last week, actually. It's a good one. :)

Anyway, to actually provide a meaningful post, here's my picks.

Favorite(Best, IMO): The Contest

Least Favorite(Worst, IMO): The Series Ending Episode, whatever the title of it was

Anything from the 3rd season is certifiable GOLD. I'll argue that this is the greatest season in sitcom history. The Pitch (a show about nothing), The Bubble Boy, The Virgin, The Contest, The Outing (not that there's anything wrong with that!), The Implant (they're real and they're spectacular!), and The Junior Mint are all classics. If I had to pick a favorite, Id probably go with The Outing.

The last 2 seasons where hit and miss, the least favorite was the one where Jerry kept shaving his body hair to please his girlfriend.

Oh come on! That had the top of the muffins TO YOU!

I'd say that Seinfeld just left before it got bad as the eps. WERE goofy, but not in the simpsons goofiness as all characters maintained their character traits.

I can't think of any great or bad eps. right now, I don't know why - I've seen like everyone at least twice - it's one of my favourite shows - but nothing is coming. I can't recall an overly bad one either. I just...haven't...thought about it.

Favorite is the Backwards Episode. It was just such a novel concept for a sitcom and seeing Kramer's lollipop get bigger was hilarious to me for some reason.

Worst... um... in all honesty, I haven't seen enough to say what the worst one is, but like others have said, probably one of the earlier episodes.

Yeah, Puerto Rican Day is no longer banned. A local station played it over the summer; when nobody complained, it was placed back into rotation.

I never really got into this show. I tried on many occasions to watch it and laugh at it, but the whole time I felt that I was "supposed" to think certain things were funny, when to me, they just weren't. By no means did I hate the show, or think it was "bad" but I, personally, just never got into the show(or most sitcoms period for that matter) It was kind of like the Spielburg-movie-situation where as whenever you see an ad for the NEW SPEILBURG movie, you HAVE TO SEE IT because hey it's a SPEILBURG MOVIE, SO IT MUST BE THE BEST~!

That is how I felt Seinfeld was advertised at it's peak, so maybe I was just jaded from that. Maybe I should go back and watch some episodes in syndication to see if I didn't give the show a fair chance.....

That's actually season 4 which is the best Seinfeld season ever IMO

The Best - for me would have to be the time George pretends to be a Marine Biologist and ends up having to save the whales... just because it leads to the GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD.

The Worst - The Bobca thing with the black and white cookie. It just seemed like "JUST BUY SOMETHING DIMWITS"

Oh man . . . Seinfeld is THE GREATEST F'N SITCOM OF ALL TIME!!!

Does anyone know if there are any DVD plans in the works?

I could sit through every episode a million times and not get bored . . . now it's on 4 times a day in my area. Wooooooooo!!!!!!!!

Even for all the mediocre episodes in the end, Kramer's antics made up for all the empty stories.

I have an assload of favorites so I'll name a few of them:

- Worlds Colliding

- Kenny Rogers Roasters

- Bizzaro World (Elaine meets the Anti-Jerry clan)

- The Hamptons (Shrinkage!)

- Sue Ellen being sued by Kramer, George is up for Asst to GM

- Kramer goes California

Plus, that show had the greatest guest stars; from Uncle Leo, Newman, Jackie Chiles, Sid the car parker, Jerry/George's Parents, Stan the Caddy, Steinbrenner, Mr. Pitt, ect.

Eh... I have trouble calling the pilot episode, then 4 episodes aired ten months later a "season". I consider those shows included with the 12 shows originally aired 1/91 - 6/91 as their 1st season. Even then, it's still just 17 episodes when the traditional season is 22.

Favorites: Kramer sues coffee company, The Contest, The X-mas card, the parking garage, Soup Nazi, junior mint, Keith Hernandez,

Least Favorites: The Briss, most early episodes, Kramer makes the four line highway into a two lane highway, Kramer and Newman take bottles to MI for the ten cent refund.

WORST: I'm not a big fan of many of the older episodes.

FAVORITE: I can't say that I have a favorite because there are alot of episodes that I love. I guess it just changes depending on when you ask me.

I love most episodes, but if I have to pick a favourite I'd go for -- The Jimmy

Worst: The Airport

I like almost all of them. A few that I haven't seen mentioned were the one where Jerry and Elaine go to the Seinfeld's house in Florida. It has Elaine injuring her back on the pull-out couch and Jerry getting the space pen. The other night I saw the O'Brian episode, where George and Jerry take soem guys limo at an airport. It turns out the guy was the leader of a Nazi party. Hillarity ensues.

Definitely a classic! I loved the scene where George is horrifyingly reading the racist speech he's supposed to read at MSG, and Jerry turns to him and sarcastically asks,

"You're not going to open with that, are you?"

I always thought it was a nothing show and ridiculously overrated, some fans of the show have argued it was deliberately superficial and was meant to be 'a show about nothing' but truly great comedy reqiures a greater flexibility and better depth of acting than Seinfeld ever featured.

Best sitcom ever? Not even in the top ten.

The contest was a GREAT episode. There were so many other great one's too. I can't pick a favorite.

Least favorite, the season finale didn't live up to my expectations, I guess. I didn't mind the older episodes though

There are so many, but The Chinese Restaurant is probably my favourite.

Least favourite I think is the one with the Miss America contestant, with Kramer as the chaperone.
