Brock Lesnar

Recommended Posts

Guest BobBacklundRules

Taken from wwe.com:

Lesnar, who won the NCAA heavyweight championship in amateur wrestling while attending the University of Minnesota, once competed in that sport even though he had a broken knee

It turns out that Brock Lesnar can F-5 the Big Show, even with a broken rib and a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

"It's just a pain in the ass," Lesnar said of the rib. "That's all it is."

Lesnar tore his PCL, which doesn't necessarily require surgery, even before the rib injury.

Lesnar said that even though he's banged up, he had no doubt he'd be able to pick up and F-5 the 500-pound Big Show.

"I've squatted 750 pounds," he said. "I wasn't worried about it."

The guy is a monster, and I'm glad that he is really starting to come into his own now.

Now that Heyman is no longer his manager and his face turn is complete watch out.

uhhh...he has a torn pcl aswell? uhhh...HOLY FUCK?

F5'ing Show while totally healthy would be quite a job in itself. Lesnar doing it with those 2 injuries is sick.

Imagine him in Hogan's place F5ing Andre...

I'm glad I held to my guns and never fell to the "I H8 Lesnar" contingent. He's proving me more and more right everyday.

This guy is the future.

Hmmm.... a hoss with good workrate who the smarks love.

*Head explodes* :o

Yeah it is a very unique thing.

I don't think he is a true "hoss" though as he is too agile and he works too well.

Maybe JR will bust out a new word....?

Goldberg with talent. That's how I'd best describe Lesnar.

Hopefully a year or so down the line, he'll have more confidence on the stick as well. He'll be the complete package then...

Seeing as how Lesnar is on SD! (and rightly so), I hope JR and his HOSS-tile vocabulary never have the opportunity to refer to Lesnar again.

Of course, in exchange we get Tazz and Cole calling him a stud, but hey, you give some, you get some... ;)

It still doesn't justify his push...especially when it ended at the hands of the FREAKING BIG SHOW...

but he's grown into one of my favorites.

Been a Brock fan since the SPINEBUSTER OF TRASH CANNY TRASHNESS to Snow on the Trash Can in his debut.

Screw all the people that hated Brock around KOTR. Brock can do it.

All hail Brock, for he ruleth mightily. Its incredible to think that he's still got so many good opponents to come. I'm also surprised that I've actually been digging his character recently as well. He had just got his heel persona down pat, but his face character is the first in a long while that makes me want to go into mark mode and just cheer the guy.

I'd call him Goldberg mixed with Angle, the super machine.

You know, when you have everybody tripping over themselves to say "Yeah, I called him way back!", the guy's made it.

Of course I'd like to add that I called Brock becoming a "Smark Darling"™ way back too ;) It was sometime around KoTR that I realized this guy wasn't your normal, everyday hoss. His moveset really impressed me. I've become a straight up mark for the guy.

[Yogi Bear]Brock-y Lesnar...

Better than your av-uh-rage Hoss![/Yogi Bear]

While that would be OUTSTANDING, it wouldn't be as big a feat as what he did to The Big Show, seeing how TBS is quite larger than Andre was.

*Hops onto the "I called it too!" bandwagon*

I remember when I was one of the only ones defending the guy's title push and getting hammered for it. As the months go on, he's drifting farther and farther away from the Nash/Sid/Yokozuna/Warrior/Borga carbon-copy status many thought he'd turn out to be.

"I've squatted 750 pounds," he said. "I wasn't worried about it."

Methinks this was kept under wraps until now for a reason. If we knew about this before Survivor Series I think more than a couple of us would have hypothesized that it would be possible for Brock to F5 the Big Show.

I really liked Brock when he came in (especially when he would destroy the Hardys every week), but I cooled on him for a long time (probably from May until October), then his Hell in a Cell match with Taker turned my opinion of him around. He's all right with me, although JR is still speaking from the wrong end when he says that Lesnar is the next Austin.

Personally, I thought this guy was a "Smark Favorite" before he debuted, and when they realized he was going to be portrayed as a power performer, then people jumped off his bandwagon.

No offense, but who DIDN'T think Brock Lesnar could F5 The Big Show? I mean, really...

...since Goldberg showed the world that he could JACKHAMMER him, then I had no doubts, at all, that Brocky would be able to get his finisher on him.

I was just saying how it would have been less in doubt in whether or not he could do it. No one knew 100% for sure if it could be done until Sunday.

I get what your saying, but still, after seeing Goldberg do what he did to TBS (Luger also did a great feat regarding TBS), I had no doubts if Brocky could or not, so in theory...

...I knew 100% he could do it, lol.

Umm....I will admit I was not on the bandwagon and against the push.

I am ok with it now but not all "Hell yeah push him to the moon!"
