Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Report post Posted November 20, 2002 Hmmm. I read the welcoming post, and it seems that it's a non-competitive, angle-based e-fed. Like us, but completely different. At least, that's how the guy puts it. Hmm.
Guest HVilleThugg Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Wow...I hate to say it, but that actually sounds very cool. I'm not going to join or anything...but, it's a cool idea I think. There's been tons of times when I've done angles here where I've wanted to predetermine the winner. Da "meh, i'm just sayin'" H
Guest Kamui Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Hey guys, I'm the IOW owner-dude. Basically, I've been around here for a while, and we're going to be doing a certain angle next month that's going to require more board-room (hint, hint) than the single fan board we have requires, so I requested some boards from Dames and he was gracious enough to give it to us. No, we're not competing with anyone. I like SWF. Our main center is still our website, http://www.iowonline.com. This is just for our fans, and also to see if we can spread past the usual "circle" of e-feds that we tend to get fans from. -Duo

Guest SupaTaft Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Duo, I for one would like to wish you and your fellow e-fedders a hearty "Good luck!" here at the Smart Marks. Wish you the best of success at getting more people off this site, and from what I hear, there are many people on this site who would certainly be interested in your style of e-fed. -Taft
Guest Tyler McClelland Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Angle feds are kinda cool. Still prefer RPing though.
Guest Kamui Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Angle feds are kinda cool. Still prefer RPing though. Well, if you mean RP feds, okay, but prefer roleplaying? Uh, you roleplay in angle feds too, man. That's what those things called "Vignettes" on our site are. Not meaning to offend, just informing. -Duo
Guest Thoth Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I think he means competition. However, the idea of community writing sounds promising. Good luck!
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I still dont understand what you do in that fed
Guest Kamui Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I still dont understand what you do in that fed Okay, a basic outline for you: 1. Join with a character (obviously). 2. Post "backstage" (our members-only backstage board) and find someone to do an angle with. 3. Discuss, via whatever messanger or e-mail, how you want your angle to be laid out. Who wins what match on what show, etc. 4. Weekly write matches and segments based on that angle. The two of you decide who writes what. 5. Turn them in to me before the next show. 6. Repeat. There you go. Roleplaying can go in-between any of those steps, but it's not required. -Duo

Guest Kamui Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Oh. Sounds easy... It's not about being hard or easy. Don't compare it to winning, compare it to writing. It's like a group-story. However hard or easy it is for you to write a story, that's how hard or easy IOW would be for you. -Duo
