Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Currently staying at the Ramada Inn in Boston, and I have already been to Salem. Tomorrow is the Boston Bruins game against Carolina. (I'll be wearing khaki colour shirt and khaki pants, see me in nose bleeds, or some where else.) So far I just got in today at 12:00, and its been okay. My room isn't all shabby but playing Pool and Bowling is expensive in the Family Fun Centre. Corey if you read this, is there any good concerts to atleast Saturday night, since I'm leaving Sunday morning. Oh and I'm also bitter because I forgot my CD's at my house... and I had to borrow my friends CD's to keep myself occupied or watch girlish movies. (I was listening to Linkin Park, and Weezer....KILL ME!!!!)
Guest B-X Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Go see the big dig. What? It's interesting..
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Is Fenway Park open for tours? If you're a baseball fan, check that out.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I don't think Fenway is open this time of year. Of course, we're getting YET ANOTHER nor'easter this weekend, so prepare for a really shitty Saturday.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Go see the big dig. What? It's interesting.. I can't STAND the Big Dig. That place is a nightmare to get in and out of. They serious have been working on that thing for 20 years and it's never gunna get fixed. Seriously, if Boston goes on terrorist attack...just hit the Big Dig. Please. If you want to sit in traffic forever, try to find your way around the big dig. Only good thing the big dig is for is after going to Red Soxs and Events at the Fleet Center you can go fast at night. It's awesome. Walk around Downtown Boston. Really intresting place.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Oh come on, the Binker Hill bridge is pretty cool and with the God awful traffic on 93 south you get to see it for a long time. Why did you go to Salem? The witch shit isn't that cool, but maybe I only thing that because I drive there to school everyday. If you're over 21 you could go to the clubs on Landsdown St/Ted William's Way, but watch out for the gay club. There are all the corny tourist things, like teh Freedom Trail, and the Bunker Hill Monument and stuff like that as well. Personally I try to aviod going into the city at all costs, though I did go to the Aquarium on Veteran's Day for teh first time in about 10 years. EDIT: If you like to get high, I'd suggest going to the Omni Theater and teh Planetarium in the Museum of Science. I used to do that a few years back. Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted November 21, 2002 So I'm in Boston now. Lucky bastard. Go to Salem Willows or something. That place is pretty cool. I can't wait to move back there.

Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 You know what the best part about going to Boston is? Leaving. I'm serious.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 21, 2002 ha. Sandman rocks. RedBaron I dare you to run through the streets on a horse yelling "the british are coming!"
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I live 8 miles north of teh city and I agree. I hate the traffic and get bored when I'm there. I use Boston for things like Baseball games, WWF, and stuff. It's a place to do things that I can't do at home. I can get drunk and laid at home, I don't need to go to bars down there and spend $4-5 for a beer.

Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I can get drunk and laid at home, Still living with your mom huh?
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Ha ha. I can have my girlfriend come over and get laid and drunk. Does that clarify? And yes I do still live with my mom, 1/2 the time anyway.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Just asking. No need to get all uppity. Does your mom know you're cheating on her?
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Who do you think I am? Agnes?
Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I guess the only thing I can think of is to check out a Bruins game. I haven't been to Boston, so I can't really think of anything except for that. I guess if you're a basketball fan, you could always check out a Celtics game.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Who do you think I am? Agnes? Speaking of which doesn't Agnes live around there? If so i offer a bounty on his peanut sized head!
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I think he lives in Kansas or somewhere like that and he used to live in Peabody or somewhere on the north shore of MA. If he were around i'd collect the bounty and deliver his penut sized head to you. Maybe you could use it in the Gnome warfare.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I was thinking more to scare away kids
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 That might work, but you should use it to scare your neighbors away. I think a severed human head on there porch would scare them away, especially if it was Agnes'.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Report post Posted November 21, 2002 True, but I've done enough to them, something like that would scar them for life.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted November 21, 2002 If corny tourist things = historical things, call me the corniest bastard alive!!! Boston has always seemed to me like the last outpost of civilization before the nothingness that is all points north. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Having to live in that nothingness north of Boston known only as New England, all I can say is: Run For Your Life West Or South Seriously, if I could avoid going home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I would. Seeing my friends and family isn't enough for me to want to spend weeks freezing my sack off.

Guest Kingpk Report post Posted November 21, 2002 Driving through Vermont and New Hampshire feels like a scene from Manos. "Hey look, there's a field! And another field. And another field. Ooh cows! MOOOOOOO!" Of course, the only radio station you can get is a country one.

Guest Some Guy Report post Posted November 21, 2002 I consider it a lost oppurtunity. AP, are you coming back for Thanksgiving? If so my dad just got a Civil War replica musket and we're dying to try it out.
