Top 10 Favorite Video Games

I'd be interested in seeing everyone's top 10 best overall video games from the past year for PS2, GameCube, or X-Box. Since all I own is a GameCube, here's my list:

 

1. NFL Madden 2003-ADDICTING Game

2. NCAA Football 2003-See above

3. Eternal Darkness-Creepy game

4. Resident Evil-See above

5. Super Mario Sunshine-really fun, original game

6. Metroid Prime-Just a few minutes of playing at a convention convinced me

7. Star Fox Adventures-pretty violent for a "kiddie" game, maybe that's why it's teen rated

8. NBA 2K3-Need a basketball game on here

9. WWE WrestleMania X-8-As much as it pains, we need a wrestling game on here. (Please hurry, FirePro)

10. Knockout Kings 2002/2003-Both pretty much the same, it's fun and addictive beating your friends up.

Uhm, I don't know if I've played 10 videogames this year or not, but I guess I'll do my list and see.

 

1. Tekken 4 - My favorite fighter, beating out VF4 because I can play it top level. I hate being a scrub.

2. Final Fantasy 10 - I didn't play it until this year. Excellent RPG, and finally a return to form for a series that was really slipping.

3. DDR Max - Certainly the best US version of DDR yet. A great set of music, finally with some good catas. I just wish it had nonstop mode, since onis are impossible.

4. DDR Konamix - The game that got me hooked on DDR, because, unlike DDR USA, the music was actually good.

5. Virtua Fighter 4 - A damn good fighting game, but its hard for me to really appreciate it because it's not in arcades, so there's no way to get good.

6. Soul Calibur 2 - A good fighter, with a very active arcade community, and conquest is addictive. It feels like it's becoming a reflex game a little faster than I'd like, though. I can't tell if I'll still want to play it in six months.

7. Suikoden 3 - I'm playing it now, and am only about 10 hours in, so I can't judge it yet, but I'm really liking it so far.

8. Capcom vs SNK 2 - I didn't get this until this year either. Great fighter, a nice break from Tekken.

 

Uhm, yep, that's all the new games I've played this year.
