Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 4, 2002 Report Posted March 4, 2002 Anyone have any of the announced matches for tonight handy?
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 alright here's my geusses for the show: We open with a RECAP, and than go to an INTERVIEW, and then a recap of the interview, followed up by backstage shots of the reaction of the wrestlers to the recap of the interview, 2 minute match witha DQ ending, on the fly booked main event, screehing stephanie interview, undertaker assualts a flair family memmber, recap of the show so far, main event, weak ass nwo beatdown.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Sad thingis, that is more than likely the case. It sucks when I can't even give them the benefit of the doubt. I never thought EVER that I wouldn't be excited to see ANY and ALL interaction between the likes of the Original New World Order and The Rock and Austin. Oh Well, I won't knock the show just yet, The WWF just brought my guard back up after a huge markout moment on the nWo's debut RAW. I see Austin vs. Nash tonight, and I can almost guarantee it will suck due to way too much interference and a dead crowd. God I hope this shapes up. In all seriousness, Good luck WWF. Tonight actually has a lot riding on it.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Here you go Dan: RAW kicks off live tonight from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas, at 9/8 CT only on TNN! The Federation and the nWo are in the middle of a full-fledged battle, and last week each side got its own taste of victory. On RAW, Stone Cold accepted Scott Hall's challenge to a match at WrestleMania X8. Hall responded by smashing Stone Cold's knee with a concrete cinder block at the close of the show. On Thursday, the Rattlesnake netted Kevin Nash before attacking him and Hall. With less than two weeks before WrestleMania, what will Stone Cold have planned against the nWo in his home state of Texas? Will Hogan, Hall and Nash have more sadistic schemes up their collective sleeves? On Sunday Night HEAT, we did find out that one member of the nWo will be in action tonight in Austin. Who will it be? Find out tonight on RAW! Also, the Dead Man has been on a quest to force Federation co-owner Ric Flair into a match at WrestleMania. After busting open Flair's best friend Arn Anderson last week on RAW, Flair got a measure of revenge on SmackDown! when he beat down Taker with a lead pipe. Anyone that knows the Dead Man knows that he will be on the warpath tonight in his home state. Tune into tonight's broadcast to keep tabs on the ongoing saga. Check back later today when matches are announced!
Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Thanks Bud, Damn WWF generic Previews! How in the hell do they expect that to make someone want to watch? Didn't grab my attention....
Guest Army Eye Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Flair won't be on the show, but Taker will, and they still have to set up their Wrestlemania match. Tonight could definitely be the Taker/David Flair angle
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 damn it i hate david flair no good former tag team champion and u champion AND he had Stacy Keibler. lucky SOB
Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Yeah, I can see that happening inevitably. You know what I'd like to see, and what I'd buy the PPV for? DDP runs out and defends Flair. Drop his crap with Christian, Christian needs better and so does he. DDP hasn't forgotten all the ass whippings from before. Taker is sick. If he thinks he deserves so much respect, try earning DDPs. DDP/Taker in a legit match at Wrestlemania. Granted I don't like Taker's workrate, but X-7 vs HHH was awesome. X-8 against Page could be the same. Flair could get hurt in there with that idiot, and he couldn't get a decent one out of Taker these days if you ask me.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 anything that causes DDP to drop his current gimmick is a good thing.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I would have sworn he did upon his return and his re-emergence into the WWF. Wins Euro Gold and... Decides to pick it back up! Nice job Writing team! Now what?.........
Guest dpac Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 rf video is reporting that ring of honor talent will be on raw,,,it would be great to see lowki on raw,,,
Guest Lil Naitch Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Taker vs David Flair Nash vs somebody
Guest Tony149 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I think Kevin Nash will be the nWo guy wrestling. Since he doesn't have a match at WM. Him or Hall. They'll save Hogan's wrestling re-debut for WM.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 yeah it'll be Nash wrestling austin....SMELL THE WORKRATE
Guest Just call me Dan Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 You know, I'm really going to try and go into this Raw (especially the Main event) with a real open mind and a markish attitude. I really expect Austin/Nash, and I can remember Big Show/ austin about 3 years ago in the spring being really cool. Big Show overpowered him for a while, and was virtually unstoppable. Austin couldn't get the Stunner until he finally hit 3 chair shots and nailed it for the win. I'm sure the overall workrate sucked, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I think Austin and Nash could be about the same. As long as it is the serious and hard hitting Nash we can see at times. Not the goofy finger gesturing poochie I remember from WCW during his head-booking days. I think the in-ring work will be decent considering these guys have little pull right now. They are fighting to keep their jobs and their given spots. Could be interesting.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I also see David Flair getting his ass kicked by Taker tonight. I guess they'll show taped footage of Taker beating up David at Flairs home.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I'm just shocked austin agreed to wrestle anyone in the nWo vince must have bought him a new deer riffile
Guest razazteca Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Ring of Honor talent on RAW? so that means that they will be on Heat, Jakked, Metal? Any word of the Texas Wrestling Academy talent at RAW, its only an hour away from Austin!!!!!
Guest Tony149 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I'm just shocked austin agreed to wrestle anyone in the nWo vince must have bought him a new deer riffile Austin would probably win. Then get beat up after the match.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 man it's sad when we can geuss what's going to happen hours before the show starts
Guest Human Fly Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 For sure a lot of Austin and NWO. Probably another Angle and HHH match too (hopefully). More Austin and NWO to finish. With half of the roster in Asia I'm wondering how this is going to be. Maybe X-Pac returns tonight as well.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I forgot the majority of the roster is in asia, get ready for recaps and lots of them guys.

Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Austin can't lose if they are building for him and Hall at Mania.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 nWo can't lose if their supposed to destroy the wwf. hello DQ
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 It will be DQ-city if it's Austin v one of nWo, but Austin v anyone else will be an Austin win (esp. in Texas) and then an nWo beatdown. Heck, Austin made sure he beat Perfect before the run-in last week, rather than a run-in causing the DQ and giving some "Perfect record" heat to Hennig.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Nash can lose, and they aren't going to give away Austin vs. Hall or Austin vs. Hogan on free TV.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 My guess is Hall beats RVD.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 There will be a lot of nWo, SCSA, HHH & Stephanie.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 wow, that guy is really really funny. The only thing I am looking forward to is the advancement of a Booker/Edge feud. Hopefully.
