Guest Choken One Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Don't be shocked if they have that match change like the Tag title...Storm could easily take the title from Regal on Smackdown or Raw next week and give us 15 minutes of goodness with RVD.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 I hope so. The fact that they had a good match on Heat...were given more time...and had a better match on Raw... That should really signal to the WWF that with a solid 12-15 minutes....RVD and Storm could steal WrestleMania from "the big boys"...on second thought...I know why that won't happen.
Guest converge241 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Aarghhhh! Dont get my hopes up! I dont mind Regal, I'd just so rather see another Storm-RVD, especially in a high profile setting with more time. You never know though, they realized fans were into Benoit against Jericho and we got a great series out of that.
Guest Choken One Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Would a Three way lag with Regal in there?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Yes. And three ways aren't very good. Although it may be better than a straight Regal vs. RVD match. But after seeing a decent RVD vs. Goldust match...who knows.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Three ways can be good depending on how they are booked. Look at the three way at Judgement Say 2000 between Guerrero, Malenko & Saturn for a good example. The problem is that the writers tend to get lazy, and all they do is book various two on one encounters with the third resting.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 Hey....I saw a great 4 way match at last years No Way Out. But Regal is too slow for that kind of match.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 5, 2002 Report Posted March 5, 2002 "Simply keeping Regal in the US and having him knockout RVD would have added some heat to the match. Plus Storm would have had his first TV win in...........how long?" Probably since he beat Albert for the IC Title.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 I hope to the wrestling Gods that Rob Van Dam will beat Regal and have a long standing feud with Lance Storm for the belt. Storm and RVD could have a great rivalry like HHH/Rock or Y2J/Benoit that goes on a off again for a long time. If times are right too, RVD and Storm could be a great tag-team threat, watching them do some double teams on Big Show last week on Raw, they seemed totally on the same page. If they were together, they could form an awsome team, using actual tag-team maneuvers.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 I think Storm could work as a face in a strange way, especially with RVD, they have definete chemistry. Raw was ok, improvement on the dire smackdown. The Hall/Spike Dudley was a little silly and the WM undercard desperately needs building. Booker is still without an opponent, which is a crime IMO.
Guest converge241 Posted March 6, 2002 Report Posted March 6, 2002 Yeah Storm could pull a face. He was a de-facto face in ECW as the tryout member of the Triple Threat. Crowd was behind him until they "officially" turned him.
