I am an addict to HBO.

 

 

They show great movies, have great series, and even better late night stuff...*wink wink*.....

 

 

I am a big OZ fanatic, as well as Def Poetry, The Sopranos, The Wire, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

 

 

I am a little ticked though. HBO cancelled Dennis Miller...and OZ will have their final season soon. That really makes me mad.

 

 

So what are your favorite HBO shows?

 

Also who can't wait for December 8th? It's that show about the strippers/prostitues. It's gonna rock!

Is there any reason why "Oz" runs for abour 6-8 weeks or whatever, then goes off for the rest of the year? Does it take that long to do each episode or what?

 

Of course, I guess that won't matter anymore... It's a shame that "Oz" is going off of the air, though.

It's just a season show like that....and I am going to miss it terribly when it is gone.....

I loved HBO's America Undercover documenteries but haven't seen any new ones in a while.

 

I liked the Dennis Miller show but am also a Bill Maher fan so maybe his show will be a good replacement of sorts.

 

I am disappointed in myself for not watching the Sopranoes or Oz from the beginning but I am a fan now.

On the official site, the final season of Oz has been announced to begin on January 5th, 2003.

I've never gotten HBO, so I've never seen what the big deal is about these series. Of course that may just be because I've never SEEN any of these series.

Man I have HBO now, but it's only on the living room TV and my parents are always watching that TV and they don't like those shows.

 

So I've never seen any of them.
