Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted November 22, 2002 Yes, I was this bored. On Raw, from the start of 2002 to the time he jumped to Smackdown, Big Show's win loss record: 13 wins, 11 loses NO ONE CAN STOP THE BIG SHOW! That's a champ you can be proud of That's counting wins, and loses in singles, tag matches and everything else, handicap, dq and whatnot. And if I only counted his singles matches it may have been even worse for him, cause he won quite a few NWO tag matches.

Guest Goodear Report post Posted November 22, 2002 Ah, yes, ergo proving the impact of one Paul Heyman on his career. Pull up Paul's managerial record in WWE Smackdown and you will see it is *pop* magnifeek!
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 22, 2002 Isn't Heyman booker on Smackdown? Shouldn't the blame be placed on him, if you are looking for someone to blame.

No. Vince wanted Show/Lesnar. Paul E was pushing for Benoit/Lesnar with Kurt getting the month off on an injury.

Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted November 22, 2002 After Hulk Hogan backed out of his match against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, WWE had to decide between Big Show and Chris Benoit, and eventually chose Show. Paul Heyman pushed for Rey Mysterio, but that match was not deemed to be appropriate. Kurt Angle was never really mentioned because WWE is saving the Angle/Lesnar match for as long as possible, also perhaps for Wrestlemania. Up until a week before Survivor Series, the plan was for Brock to win and continue plowing through WWE. However, McMahon felt they could extend the feud at least one month with Show screwing Brock and then Brock going for revenge in December. Benoit is still considered for a title run, but it wouldn’t be until Spring or Summer 2003. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter I would have rather seen Mysterio as champ.
