Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted November 23, 2002 Well with his hype, and recent destruction of Kane, could they be building up Batista as another Brock Lesnar, or will Batista job to Kane at the next PPV(assuming they wrestle).
Guest Mole Report post Posted November 23, 2002 Yes, Batista is Raw's Brock. I actually think that Batista has more charisma in the ring than Brock does.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 23, 2002 well if Dave can beat HHH then he can be the Raw Big Thing. the 2 minute squashes have not impressed me yet
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted November 23, 2002 Well see that is Batistas big obstacle on Raw, (assuming Vince wants him mega-pushed) on Smackdown Brock has no one that is going to refuse to job to him and attend production meetings in order for his status to remain the same. On Raw Batista is going to go and go and go, until he gets to Triple H and then doooooooown.
Guest The Notorious CRD Report post Posted November 23, 2002 I say give Batista a go. After all, most of us never expected Brock to be as successful as he's become, so maybe WWE can surprise us one more time with Batista. Eh... Triple H will just cut him off at the knees. Never mind. Guest BoboBrazil Report post Posted November 23, 2002 Batista is joining the HHH horsemen, so I don't think HHH will bury him.
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2002 That's a very good point, if the horsemen angle does go ahead involving trip and d.batista, then we can expect wins for batista without bother, ESPECIALLY if he has trip or nache at ringside.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 23, 2002 So I guess the HHH-Orton-Bautistia-Flair group is in effect?
TheFranchise 0 Report post Posted November 23, 2002 well we know 3 of them are together i bet, it just depends on if Orton comes in, i'm just glad we haven't seen a RNN since SS.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 23, 2002 How do you suppose you bring him in? The same way Rock joined the Nation? I was thinking of Having him make his triumphant return to a face style promo with Jim Ross...as the crowd boos him out...Later that night...Main event- Crips/Bautistia Vs RVD/Booker...Flair interferes...A big brawl occurs...Jeff, Dudz, 3MW, Xstain, Orton and Dreamer all run in and they brawl...Leaving Orton and RVD alone in the ring...Orton grabs the chair RVD was using to do the Van Terminator on Crips with...Hits him mid-air and sends him into overdrive onto chair...Shakes hands with Crips...Bautistia and Orton stare down and smile and embrace. Flair goes Whoo! and they all leave together in hands. Next Monday...The Group returns at the end of the night for the 15 minute promo all to announce to rebirth of the horsemen. Guest Choken One Report post Posted November 23, 2002 Nothing...I think they are smarter just to have RNN every couple of weeks as to not burn out the greatness of RNN.
Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 The only problem with RNN is that it cuts into things we'd rather see, like actual matches or babyface promos. Of course, if the broke into something like, say, a 3H promo Orton would be face turned by the crowd so quick they'd probably overload the crowd mics. As for Batista, I like the guy. He's greener than grass, but he sure does look intimidating. Of course if he does join the HHHorsemen, he's just going to become Arn Anderson to 3H's Ric Flair, so he's not going to be anything more than second fiddle until Mr. Terra Rizin explodes from roid abuse. How does one become a member of the HHHaters club? I can be as vitriolic as the next guy.

They all look like they hurt and they probobly do.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I think Batista is starting off much like Lesnar. Impressive looking but dull as hell in the ring.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I think Batista is starting off much like Lesnar. Impressive looking but dull as hell in the ring. Well, in his first two appearances Lesnar was impressive as hell. He did a spinebuster/powerbomb, a triple-powerbomb, and the coolest spinebuster I'd ever seen. Plus, we know Brock can do anything he wants in there, he's just a power wrestler by choice, Bautista can *only* be a power guy.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Batista impressed me the first couple of times I seen him but just like Lesnar, was boring and disappointing in the ring. I'm sure he'll improve but he is disappointing me so far.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I still say they were better off using Sean O'Haire as the "RAW monster". The kid can go toe to toe with power moves or agility, has a great, unique intensity about him, and was fairly over in WCW during the dying days. I don't mind Batista, but I think they should have kept him as Leviathan to begin with. "Dave Batista" just wreaks of "Bill Goldberg". At least "Sean O'Haire" is a somewhat cooler name. Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I agree that O'Haire would have made a much better monster to push because he does have the talent. The WWE really doesn't think much of O'Haire in my opinion. He was never given much of a chance with the company.
Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Fun fact about Batista to watch out for next time he's in the ring - the guy takes tiny footsteps when he runs. I'm talking Fred Flintstone-style here. Utterly hilarious, particularly when drunk.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted November 24, 2002 the whole deal of Batista squashing wrestlers with power moves in 3 Minutes has been done before......the Island boys desentized me. And if the HHHorsemen happens it looks like Batista will just be Psycho Sid Vicious, this time around, Ortan will try to be Barry Windham, HHH takes the leadership role that Flair had, and Ric Flair gets to be the errand/whipping boy for the group. You'd figure guys that are quiet and un-intrusive are guys you'd WANT to have on the roster, but noooo. You don't shake one hand, and you're blackballed for life. Friggin' politics.
