Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 As many of you may know, tomorrow marks the first and only regular season meeting of the Righteous and Just Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the diabolical Green Bay Packers this year. Many months ago, a wager was made between myself and Kotzenjunge involving this game and the services of a young Vietnamese girl that he has hidden in his basement. In the interim, I've decided to drop that bet (these INS bastards are hot on my trail anyway) and instead will simply brag and boast, safe in the knowledge that no stakes exist and I have nothing to lose. The last time the favored teams of Kotz and myself went head to head, my beloved Florida Gators trounced the overrated Tennessee Volunteers. Will history repeat itself? Will the righteous and just #1 ranked Tampa Bay defense be able to contain Brett Favre and his ragtag band of lovable losers? The answers, of course, are yes and yes. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I, too, would much rather see a tie. I believe the best way to proceed from there is a thread of verbal warfare between the two of you, all in the interest of entertaining the rest of us. And, besides . . . you could take him, Kinetic. I know you can. Do it for the ol' Spidah Po'?
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I could handle him easily up until The Last Resort or whatever he calls it when he slips into his raver alter-ego and starts flirting with people. There really isn't anything you can say to that.
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I could handle him easily up until The Last Resort or whatever he calls it when he slips into his raver alter-ego and starts flirting with people. There really isn't anything you can say to that. You can say you enjoy it. Or you can just play "Where is my Mind" by The Pixies and a bunch of random people will go "OMG FIGHT CLUB IS THE BESTEST MOVIE EVAR~!" then just point at Kotz and say he doesn't like Fight Club. Hilarity ensues.
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 True enough. There really isn't much you can say when a Raver initiates gyrating maneuvers of battle around you. I'd be floored in that instance, too.

Guest SP-1 Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Noted, Indeed. Â Yeah, I just realized that my post actually had nothing to do with the discussion at hand. For some reason, I disregarded that The Last Resort or whatever would be a verbal matter. Â What if he turned that secret weapon on you, Kinetic? I, personally, would be hard pressed to declare you the winner after Kotz struck the, "Hey, you Kinetic Cutie, how are YOU doing?" blow. Kotz flirting with people could spell doom for you, I'm afraid. Â SP, being nonsensical.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I'm overjoyed that my device has struck such fear and makes people feel powerless when forced to face it.  At the same time, I'm disturbed that every time I do that, more and more people think I'm gay.  And Kinetic, like I said in the Week Twelve Pigskin Pick 'Em, if I had a chance at winning the contest, I'd have picked Tampa Bay, but since I'm #20 right now, I picked my favorite over the probable victor. I won't be surprised if Tampa wins, but I'll be ecstatic is Green Bay beats them.  All I know is that if this is anything like their games last year, we're in for a good one.  Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge  EDIT: And since I know what Kinetic looks like, the FINAL RESORT~! would be more potent than it was against Ken by TENFOLD! Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Tampa Bay will win  New Orleans own them both, however.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted November 24, 2002 And this is where Kinetic and I join forces to destroy New Orleans, but only the Saints, as the rest of the city is the motherfucking bomb. Â Tampa or Green Bay will destroy New Orleans, depending on who gets to them first in the playoffs. Â Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Tampa gets another shot at New Orleans in the regular season and I'm confident that we'll be able to handle them. Remember that Tampa's loss to New Orleans was in week one and came in overtime when the punter threw an interception in the end zone. So it's not like the Saints OWNED the Bucs or anything. With McNabb out, my pick for the NFC champion would come down to either Green Bay or Tampa Bay, which makes tomorrow's game all the more important. If we still had the Vietnamese girl stip, I'd be overwhelmed by anticipation.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted November 24, 2002 kinetic, i have always called you one of my favorite posters. i love the fact that you write for the site. i even enjoy your musical tastes to a certain degree (who else will talk neil young with me?) BUT dude.... you can only thank the lord above that tampa bay is no longer in green bay's division. you can hope and wish and pray that tampa goes far but they are favre's bitch and ran with their tails between their legs from the mighty pack. then again, they should have never been in the same division in the first place.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 All things considered, I'd rather them be in the NFC North at this point. Yeah, you have to play the Packers twice. But then you get to beat up on the Bears, the Vikings, and the Lions! It's the easiest division in the conference, no question. Compare that to the South, where Tampa, New Orleans, and Atlanta are all viable playoff contenders. Even Carolina has a decent team. I am not afraid of the Packers. No, I am not. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 All I know is that the Redskins suck, and if I had 100 bucks to put on the game for them to lose I would. Â I kinda figure that Tampa will be able to hold off Green Bay enough to get the win, but honestly I could care less.
Guest treble charged Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Who cares? The only football game tomorrow that matters is taking place in Edmonton. The Eskimos vs. the Alouettes in the 90th Grey Cup game. You should be arguing over that in the CFL playoffs thread in the Sports folder.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Tampa Bay will win New Orleans own them both, however. WHOA WHOA WHOA  New Orleans can own Green Bay I dont care, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are and always will be the personal bitches of the Philadelphia Eagles. I don't care if McNabb is out when Tampa decides to show up for a game in Philly but until then don't try to take Tampa from us.

They used to be in Baltimore and won a grey cup game (which I watched) and lost another one (which I watched as well). Â Just like the Yankees were originally the Baltimore Orioles..teams that leave Baltimore automatically become awesome or something.. Â Anyway...
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Yeah, well, the McNabb-less Eagles will be lucky to make it to the playoffs without him to carry the entire team on his back, so I'm not going to take this all that seriously. I'll admit that the Bucs seem to have a problem beating the Eagles. But nothing more.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Tampa is the Jericho to the Eagles HHH, Koy Detmer on one leg would beat the statue that is Brad Johnson.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 As a Redskins fan, it upsets me greatly that the Eagles are probably going to tank the rest of the Season, and yet the Redskins suck so bad that they won't be able to take advantage of a golden oppertunity and make the playoffs. Â I hate the Giants, I hate the Cowboys even more..so uh..this is really disgusting me right now as a Redskins fan..
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted November 24, 2002 I wouldn't count on the Eagles folding just yet. After SF and StL. the next two weeks they get Seattle then the NFC east. They completely decimated the three division games so they should still win them with Koy. And I think they will win one of the next two games as well. Guest Flyboy Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Tampa or Green Bay will destroy New Orleans, depending on who gets to them first in the playoffs. That I could see happening. Â I doubt they get past the first round.
Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 24, 2002 Brad's been throwing up some good stats lately. I wouldn't go so far as to label the Tampa offense "intimidating" or "imposing" or even "good," but they're certainly good enough to allow the defense to win games. I do not fear Koy Detmer. No, I do not. But we shall see who has the last laugh, Mr. Pinjockey. Oh, yes we will. Â You, too, Mr. Kotzenjunge. The clock is ticking. Tick tock. Tick tock. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted November 25, 2002 THE MOTHERFUCKING BEARS FUCKING WON~! Â finally, jesus christ. they've never lost 9 games in a row..good thing they got lucky against powerhouse Detroit in OT.. Â *hangs head* Â At least the Packers lost. Guest Kinetic Report post Posted November 25, 2002 Damn skippy. A whole lot of people are going to be eating their words at the end of January. If there was only a way that I could insert a clause into Warren Sapp's contract that required him to verbally spar with the opposing head coach at the end of every game, this would be the best season EVAR.
